Glad to hear! I’m disappointed that the only ones that will see them are the ones that are trying to sell catalytic converters

Love Sunday deliveries. Wet O's front, back and center (console). Forgot how much I hate putting these things in. I did get the pass seat straightened out in case you don't like the wrinkles.

There are sections marked on the front flaps that can be removed to fit larger tires. It lets the top sit in a little further. I didn’t have to do it with the factory tires, but I didn’t want to be bothered redoing it if I need more room in the future.

Post-lift torque check. The passenger side cam was just a smidge loose. Other than that everything was good.

Not necessarily a mod, but a replacement. I have an UnderCover Ultra Flex tonneau cover. Recently the plastic clips that hold the prop rods in place broke after 3 years. Warranty covered everything for 5 years, so I contacted UnderCover about getting it taken care of. Just wanted to share how great their customer service was. They promptly got back to me and sent out replacements right away.

What surprised me is they’ve updated the prop rod holders. They’re now made out of rubber and feel a lot more secure than the plastic ones. Nice improvement!

Good to know. I ordered identical replacements from Amazon for under $10. I didn’t want to contact them because I’m impatient lol

I assume the radio is held on via the belt clip on the rear?

I'm looking for something for a handheld Uniden Scanner (no mic)

Here is where I mounted my interior antenna. It is completely out of the way.IMG_6088.jpg

I'm not who you asked, but I've had the weboost for over a year. My two cents:

We only use it on trips, so it's not often. So it's pricey for something not used much. If there is no cell signal to amplify, the weboost won't help. That being said, we have enjoyed having it especially during the long trips we were usually able to pull a signal down despite our cell phones not working. The # of bars displayed during use is NOT an accurate depiction of signal strength. Literally no help if you are standing outside the truck. The internal antenna only throws about 36" and does not seem to penetrate the windows if they are rolled up. The spring on my antenna is rusting and that irritates me. Had I known the finish would not last, I would have sprayed it with Rust Stop before installation.

    YMMV

Lift, wheels, tires, sliders, and skidplates...so far.
Installed the Rough Country Speedometer Calibrator. Can’t believe how easy it was. For once, the how-to videos weren’t lying. There are a number of things that nearly all men habitually and compulsively lie about. For example, how big their penis is, how long they last in the bedroom, how much they can bench, and how long it takes them to do maintenance on their vehicle.

Most You Tube instructional videos drastically underestimate the time needed for any given job. “Hey guys, don’t forget to like and subscribe. Today, we are gonna remove and replace the transmission on a 2021 Toyota Tacoma. Make sure you have about 2 hours set aside for this job.”

Anyhoo, i give two solid thumbs up to the Rough Country Speedometer Calibrator.

Here is the data from my before and after tests. Stock tires were 265/65-16. New tires are 285/70-17.

Before speedometer numbers with the 285/70-17s (speedometer speed = GPS speed):
      • 51=54
      • 55=58
      • 65=68
      • 75=79
      • 85=90

      • After installing the RCSC:
          • 55=54
          • 65=64
          • 75=73
          • 85=84
I would have taken more pics but the job was done so fast that i forgot to take more pics. I left the USB cord sticking out and tucked it behind the kick panel just in case i decide to change the settings in the future but for now, I’m happy as a puppy with two peters.

Given that these still require a cell signal to work, if you really are remote I'd choose a Zoleo of InReach. I have a Zoleo, inexpensive to buy, great service, inexpensive service plans.

I installed the Ring Car Cam last week and removed the FitCamX. I need to a better job centering it on the dash but otherwise I’m happy with the install. Also, it’s super easy to download videos using the Ring app and you can access it when you are parked. One really nice thing about that is it allows me to check on my pup, if he is hanging out in the cab.
