    Ugh. Sorry about that. I have a tire repair kit (never used) and am perfectly capable of changing a tire, but I'll admit that I've been known to have the roadside assistance folks do it since (a) I pay for that; and (b) it never happens when I'm in the right clothes to be crawling around on the wet pavement. And I was curious if the spare was alloy or steel; you answered that question for me.

    Small zip ties to hold it in place and then stainless locking wire. Small drill bit patience and a beer….or two. Less than 9 bucks from Lowe’s for the screen.

    Question;
    When shifting from 4-drive to 2wd while sitting still or moving slow I hear a “clunk” near the rear diff. Normal?

    Installed the B&M short throw shifter a little while ago. It's a really nice piece of kit! Feels much better than stock for sure.

    Its been 22 days since my acl surgery. Finally had a nice day to get outside and do some things with the truck. I touched up the right fender from the bozos at the dealer and the tailgate. I also installed seat risers, drawer for the cubby and blockers for the license plate.

    Got the new Rigid D-SS spots as ditch lights (Amber Pro Series which is the new part). Very cool product, looks awesome and will work great illuminating off-road environments at night. Plus, adds a cool look to the truck. What I really like about the D-SS is that they are the perfect ditch light because of their side emitters. I don’t like the look of lights that only shine forward being angled 45° to hit the ditches. These can be straight and offer a ton of forward light and lots of side light, nearly a full 180° spread.

    Don’t have them wired up yet but I got a switch panel off eBay that replaces the stock left switch panel and has room for all the stock switches at the bottom and a row of 5 short switches on top. Basically, 3 additional locations compared to stock.

    Edited to add night pics.
