I'm 5'9 so this adjustment works for me I say if you're any taller you should get the tundra because my friend who is 6 ft always bangs his head when he gets into the passenger seat.. this is a truck for smaller folks. Mid-size truck, midsize folks.

It all depends on how long ones legs are. It seems that people that are 5'10" or taller get some strain relief when the front of the seat is elevated. For those 5'8" like myself and shorter, we get relief by elevating the rear of the seat.

I had looked at the tundras but couldn’t find one for the right price. I’m 6’3 so really regardless of what I’m in, it can be tight lol.

I fabbed a dog platform. Can also be used for tossing my rather large lunchbox on for work, groceries, or a quick nap if the mood strikes. Haven’t finished glueing down the carpet, but you get the idea. EE2E2A12-B13C-4D8A-B1C7-544B96D33054.jpg4F3DEE58-9D86-443F-9FA7-452B37762A68.jpg

Thanks to all for the back-and-forth about the seat jackers. My driver's seat is electric and I'm pretty comfortable (5'11"), but the wife immediately commented on some discomfort as a passenger on a recent two-hour trip. She's about 5'9" and thinks raising the back would help.

We were spoiled by our Tundras. Our last one was a 2nd Gen Ltd with leather and she really liked it, said it felt like riding on a Lazy Boy. I'm probably going to add Clazzio seat covers, but I'll need to sort out the angles to make it a little more comfy for her.

    Thanks again for the feedback!

Still all in my head… but I’m keeping the chrome bumper!
Gonna do the same for my better half. Is there an original seat jacker manufacturer? Don’t want to support knock offs.

@5nahalf Have you seen this fishing pole mod?

Same issue, still worth it though. I went with the smallest shim on the back of the seat if anyone else is wondering. I tried it without the rear shim and the seating angle wasn't comfortable for me. The other shim sizes were too just too much imo.

I’m going to add lift to the BACK of the passenger seat in my 2021……have an electric seat on drivers side………my wife is 5’7.

wish I could remember how to contact the retired guy in Florida who made a really nice kit (machined rounded lift you added, with the bolt and everything) that got really popular on 2nd gens……..I ordered those for my 2010…..

If somebody out there in TW land knows, please post the link/info please

Yeah I'll just have this one rebuilt. Was rock bouncing her pretty good, front end went airborne and I landed at full lock. Little pop and saw ps fluid spraying in my rock light

I was ogling that picture just the other day, very clean. Im actually trying to figure out a new fishing rod storage system now too since my new boat takes up the space my old rack was, but also I just sold off my OEM roof rack since its not strong enough for me.

Once it warms up I'm going to be selling my Yakima Skyline towers with landing pads, if you wanted a stronger, easily removable rack.

Has anyone done the light strip under the tailgate? I like the idea of having more noticeable hazards from behind than just the tail lights. Was debating the strip or just mounting small strobe lights in the same gap.
