This past week, at 60,000, changed engine oil, air and cabin filter, changed transmission (drain & fill) and rear diff oil. Then washed and applied ceramic coating.20230329_151439.jpg

While I really appreciate your scientific drawing lol... I think that the Venturi effect or perhaps Bernoulli's are a more applicable. A vortex requires an axis.
The fast moving air across the bottom (and sides) of the truck forms lower pressure in the space between the cab and bed which is more likely to draw air across those vents down from above. The blockage formed via noodle would lessen and divert that movement. I think the simple acoustic barrier the noodle would create also plays a large role. There may be a Vortex of atmo acting in the bed space below the cab height.

I understood at least half of those words. That said, if the air is also passing from above, would it hurt anything to try a second pool noodles above the vents? Or perhaps a lone one above the vents to test the theory?

Went to get the wife a new phone, they offered me a verizon home internet thing for a year free to try out. Dont need it, but Im going to install it in the truck for some nice in car wifi. Just need to wire up a solid 12v line and a relay for it.

Ya, what he said. All I know is that it works. Especially when my lab has his head stuck out the back window.
