You can never have too many tools (that's my excuse). When I needed the T30 I went all in and have a full range of Torx drivers from T2 to T70. Some have come in handy for working on my bikes too.

They're Coverado from Amazon. Cost about $160 for the whole set. Kinda weird to install but they are really comfortable and fit the seat well. They seem like good enough quality to last a while, and since they were on the inexpensive side- I wont worry if they get a little messed up from my dog

First time posting in this thread. Just installed new Falken Wildpeak A/T3W on my new-to-me Tacoma. May go bigger one day, but had to get the "car tires" (Mastercraft Stratus HTs) the dealer had installed off ASAP. The Falkens are a little noisier on the highway, but I can just crank up the stereo. I had them throw the Mastercrafts in the bed. They only have a couple of hundred miles on them so hopefully I can sell them on to someone... wife's RAV4 is ready for some new shoes too.

A big shout out to Jordan (@Discount Tire) for reaching out. He was able to save me almost $100 with a price match.

I know they aren't the honkin' meats that could go under it with some new wheels, a lift and other mods, but it suits me for now. With the OTT performance tune by Paul (@PNWTacoma) and these new tires it runs like a dream.

Thanks for all of the tips and tricks everyone's posting here and elsewhere. Coming from a couple of Tundras I was worried that a Tacoma wouldn't be my cup of tea, but it's been terrific so far... and the folks on this forum have been great from day one. A number of other updates big and small to do now, but this one's off my list.

First photo is from a week or so after I bought it (with the grandma tires). The rest are from today. Happy that it looks more like a "truck" now. Plus I'm no longer worried about getting around in the rain and snow here. Win-win! :D

welcome to TW! Nice score on the lights.

Light bar looks sweet. how did you mount it? I have seen the bracket for 30 in but nothing for a 20 in.

    thanks

@TRDRed the truck looks fantastic! It's amazing how the Falkens make it look just a little more rugged. More truck like. Thank you for the recognition, it was our pleasure assisting you with your tire purchase. Thanks for the pics! Red and black are our favorite colors.

I did Raptor liner bed liner kit. Personally I don’t like powder coat that much. Once it starts to chip you have to basically start over from what I’m told. It’s not very effective to just “touch it up”.

I did not do bash plates, wish I would have. I think they can be added on though, I’m going to ask about that

Not all today but a list of all the little things I've added in the past couple of weeks -
    blackout emblems
    floor mats
    center console org
    glove box organizer
    red vent rings
    license plate frames
    Door sill protectors
    tailgate letters
    interior LED lights
    grill emblem
    steering wheel emblem
    LED headlights, fog lights
    shifter trim ring
    fuel cap holder
    cup holder divider

but, by far my favorite is from Teton Workshop... is it hot in the summer? YES. Is it cold in the winter? YES. Is it absolutely worth it? Also, YES. I love this thing.

Thats a great deal for that set of lights. Let me know if you ever have any questions regarding your new lights.

First proper DST tuning session with the new system last night. Better, but not all the way there yet.
