Agree with the Qi! How did you replace with USB chargers? Any additional wiring needed there?

Finished building platform and drawers. Painted the bottom/sides of drawers with liquid rubber to help waterproof them. Next up is a softopper.

I bought the quick charge on Amazon (link below). It fits in the Qi slot. I tapped the + 12v socket next to it with an inline fuse. - Ground for the center console is right there too. Easy job once you get the console removed. I thought about tapping the + wire on the Qi slot as well but its pretty short and a tight spot to solder. The 12v has more slack to make a good solder.

I made my own custom ladder mounts for the CVT tent ladder that work with the Uptop pillar slots.

I’m starting to thank the tire gods I got these. Crazy fucking downpour on the early morning drive just now. Heading out of Topanga going south on the 27, I couldn’t avoid a large rock, 4”-5”by itself. Damn!….first off, I couldn’t believe how well it took the hit. The stock Work Truck SR5 suspension plus the Wild Peak A/T3W’s Extra Load tire took that hit, ABSORBED IT at 30mph and along I kept going. I’m a believer now! Falken, you build a very good tire. I won’t even talk about the wall of water I got a quick glimpse of on the right side later down the 27 when the Tacon drove through a lake near the side of the road  Didn’t hydroplane as much as my brain calculated that very moment. Forget the freeway drive! Cool frijoles As I got to my destination safely…Always a believer in Tacomas no matter the trim.

This past week, at 60,000, changed engine oil, air and cabin filter, changed transmission (drain & fill) and rear diff oil. Then washed and applied ceramic coating.20230329_151439.jpg
