You keep the documents on your person. That's why the OP fabbed the mod because he was forgetting to keep the docs with him. Peace and Love.
edit: When I go hiking or someplace I don't need my whole wallet I use this:
    001.jpg
A small cordura wallet that holds 3 or four documents and a key that I can slip into a pocket.

I have the stock clips from my install. You could always drill a hole for the lock cable. Let me know and I’ll ship it out to you.

I just put them on so haven’t experienced anything yet. I’ve put these on my Jeeps for years with no issues. I guess these are IFS and haven’t thought about it causing an alignment issues. From what I understand some people say they can put extra strain on your bearings and whatnot but haven’t heard anything about causing alignment issues.

It drove straight when I drove around afterwards to make sure things drove well. So far so good!

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...-replace-big-ugly-stock-bracket-20-23.555133/

Here is the link to the guy that sells the flush mount bracket. It was a little difficult for me to install cuz I have sausage fingers, and I'm blindly looking to thread a nut to a bolt I can't see :). But it wasn't too bad. Read the thread on the link and some of those guys have installed them pretty quick.

Not all in one day but last couple few days. Got my sub installed, put in a wireless adapter for the CarPlay and some accent stripes for the headlights. Just a little personalization.

He man whats up. I got it off of Ebay. Copy and paste this in the search box: Toyota Tacoma TRD Matte Black Mesh Grille Insert Grille Overlay Trim

At first I thought maybe its just an overlay that sticks with 3M tape, but it does have full on clips and is a direct replacement.

it came out pretty good. Had a local shop do the entire install. It sounds good actually to be a 8”. It is not gonna win any SPL competitions or shake the car next to you at the light but adds that nice neat punch. It shakes all the mirrors inside if provoked.

Good to know. Seems like if you're not pushing them that far out it shouldn't cause too much stress on the rest of the suspension.

    Thanks for that!

Got the rear diff back on schedule. Question, even though its only been 10k since the last diff change, it still smelled like fucking death. Is that just me? Is that normal??? Does the diff fluid smell cooked every change?

How did it go? I had to grind mine down a bit on both sides to get them to fit properly.

Did you inspect the diff fluid before going to the dealer?

    :confused::confused::confused:

This truck hasn't seen the dealer since it's 25k.

Also, it's Sunday and ol' Rock Lobster is four very Hard drinks deep so far. Subtlety is for weekdays.

sounds like a central Florida meet up. Mine is stock and REALLY thinking about a tune. Can run tunes on just regular fuel right or does it automatically bump you up to super?

Thanks for the generous offer! I actually still have the originals as well. Might give that a try. Thanks again!

    Minor stuff.
Installed a mic extension for my Icom ham radio. Bough a 10’ (could have gone with the 6’) Cat 6 RJ25 Ethernet cable from Amazon (search the following ASIN: B07VJX17ZJ) . The female end had to be filed just a little bit for it to fit in the USB port on my Expedition Essentials accessory mount. Used a file and after like 15 secs of filing, tested for fit and once it fit nice and snug, done. And since I never used the USB plugs in there, I figured this was more useful. Ran the male end behind the radio and under the center console and under the driver’s mat. From there I ran it under the seat where the main unit is. Mounted the Icom mic holder onto the accessory mount and done. Still not a fan of the Icom mics and their mic holder but oh well.
