Give it some time. These trucks seem to learn your driving habits and make adjustments... I have a 4x4 4 cyl SR and ECT PWR helps me on the highway.. I'm at 45k now and it feels broken in finally seems to have more pep. It's a turd... But I just hit ECT when I want more response.......I never noticed a difference in my V6 when I used this feature.....it makes a big difference in the 4 banger

 

I tested out my new stove setup at my buddies farm out by their dirt bike track. Field lunch. I finished this new stove integration late last season so I didn't end up testing it last year. Pizza, ribeye, burgers and hotdogs - success!

Used the truck to pick up a nice clean 4hp outboard motor. Also got a free 23 year old trolling motor thats full of spiders.
Now I need to build a mount in the bed for the outboard since I cant leave it on the boat while driving (plastic hull boat)

For those who dont know, boat gas tanks and fuel lines are stupid expensive.... 3 gallon tank and fuel line with fittings and bulb cost me $130!

Yep. We have two other vehicles, both with wireless Car Play and they work that way too. Just wasn't sure if that particular adapter would and apparently it does.

I am looking to install the door sill protectors but do not know how to align them front to back. I have the instructions, which show an alignment point which I do not see on the truck. A search brought up your post, so I figured I would ask you. Also, mine seem to be sticky adhesive, so what to you mean by “wet method?” Any guidance would be appreciated.

Dude since I schooled myself on pinion angles and how to measure correctly, omg it's great. Big test will be tomorrow on the interstate going to work. From a stop instantly feel the improvement. Smooth like it's stock again.

 

The new to me Tacoma had a big day today.

Popped in the meso map and dome light, 67 taco rail, and put in the gator liners.

Moved outside and removed the front air dam, swapped the lows, highs, and fogs to led with switchbacks in the fogs, did the ac drain mod, rear diff breather relocate to the tail light, and while the tail light was off swapped the reverse lights to led and put the total chaos bed stiffeners in. Finished up the day by taking off the chrome steps and the TRD stickers on the bed.

Oh ok I had the wiresss charger one. I didn’t like it. It attached to your case with a thin metal ring, but there wasn’t enough surface area so it would unstick from the phone case especially when hot and stay on the magnet mount leaving your phone to fall off. I had to replace the ring and try two different cases.

 

Interesting. There is a local guy doing OTT now… I’m tempted to switch over since the damn dealership erased my tune. Again.
