I had SS3 yellow Pros without backlit but sold it here and now I’m running the yellow elites with backlit. They’re not as bright but has a slightly wider beam and sharper cutoff. Also, looks OE and tinted.

Still all in my head… but I’m keeping the chrome bumper!
I’d take a at least a year cleaning that guy out… the new Tundras took a year to get outta “limp” mode.

I think it’s pretty good for price, it does its job of keeping things out of sight and seals decently well. No issues putting it, there is gap at the front header rail which all Tacos have but they provide some weatherstripping….which isn’t quite right so I just sealed it instead with black silicone. All in all, I’m happy with it.

Received my 6112/5160s. I have the ECGS bits to tackle that as well. Now to find time to do the install....

Got the RetraxPro XR installed. Wanted the T-slots.

I have about 4-5 additional things coming for the interior, but I’m trying to not buy anything else until I move in the next month and a half.

Yep that’s the part. If you slide your Tacoma oil filter on that shaft you’ll notice the shaft extends past the top of the filter by more than an inch. When you replace the shaft from new metal housing with the shaft from the old plastic housing, the shaft actually sits below the top of the filter.

If you buy from Amazon/EBay just be sure who you’re buying from is legit.

I love the Retrax. I had the same one but then swapped for the Powertrax Pro XR so I could install a Leitner ACS Tonneau in the future. Really want to pull the trigger on it but waiting for a sale!

I was able to source a Meso puddle switch kit finally! Looking forward to getting that installed once it arrives and buttoning up all the interior wiring.

I've already installed my aluminum housing and when I put the filter on the shaft from the metal housing did not extend past the filter and actually sat where it did in the plastic housing. I bought my metal housing from the local dealership.

One of the things I added to my truck the day I brought it home. Love that tail badge. They didn't have the front available when I ordered so I went with the standard heritage stripes for the grille.

I think the grill badge is a little much. I really just wanted the stripes for the front. But just the stripes are not made as a grille badge, so i'd probably need to buy another stripes only and JB weld my own bolts for attaching to the grille.

Same tho. I like this but I wish they made a matching front badge out of steel with powdercoated stripes like they did with the rear. That would be super trick.
