    Thanks for the heads up.
Suma is what I have on the 2nd gen, this is good to know, I was worried these would be lesser quality.

Got my side windows tinted to match the Access Cab door and ARE truck cap windows. I always thought window tinting was a waste if money but it really does keep heat out and improves privacy.

Just got some new parts straight from Japan. Super happy with these that it even came with a free gift. (Which I know it ain’t free because of the price I paid for them) other then that I love how the Goodyear logo is not a sticker but made like that.

I just emailed MESO asking about availability and they were able to find me one and invoiced it and shipped it today. Might be worth a shot?

The base just adds stability to the Hi-Lift in most situations.

I like both of those. I had an old ski rope strap laying around and put it to good use.

I should have asked that another way. I understand the functionality of the base but I was wondering how you plan on mounting it to store on your truck. Does it fit with the other jack mount that you got or do you plan something else?

Front pass door handle replacement, Tyger step rails, Tyger soft bed cover, DDSS3 fogs, TRD skid, OR front tow hook, SokieTech hood struts, front seat covers (neoprene), metal oil filter housing, magnetic oil plug, Cyclone under hood lights, Miller cat shield, Blue Sea Systems 5025 Fuse Block ST Blade 6 Circuit with Ground and Cover, Blue Sea Systems 60A DC Panel Mount circuit breaker.
48,000 miles. No pictures but I swear it happened.

New tires. Replaced OEM 265/65-17 with Michelin Defender LTX M/S 265/70-17.
New front pads (04465-04090) and caliper pins (90240-06158). Outer pads were about 1/2 the thickness of the inner ones. Interesting that the “pads need replacing metal rub piece” is on the inner pads.

Pins weren’t necessary but they corrode over time (mine weren’t too bad; spent their life in NW Florida so the environ isn’t much of a challenge (GOM salt air) and they cost $2.50 each). Probably fastest and easiest pad replacement I’ve ever done. (Remove tire, remove two small springs, remove caliper pins, c-clamp the pistons “open” (position c-clamps where each caliper pin goes through each pad), remove pads with 2 “shim plates”, and, in the spirit of Chilton’s: Installation is opposite of removal.)

However, that design is what results in all that disconcerting racket when I apply and release the brakes. That racket is mostly if not entirely gone now. Seems the springs that help release the pads from the rotors could be a bit stronger?

I’m just going to put it in a large tote with my other recovery gear. The mount is specifically for the jack. I’ll post pics when it’s done.
