I highly recommend it honestly, it was my first ever cut on my truck at it was a breeze after looking through some threads and a few YouTube videos on them.

Man I want one of these. I wish they were more waterproof though. Especially for the price.

For 4 grand, you’d expect it to actually be sealed.

And $37k for a Tacoma, that needed plenty of mods/corrections.

The money is irrelevant to expectations...

The difference is the Tacoma didn’t “need” mods for 99.99999% of people. It’s just the psychos like us who decide to put extra money into them.

A cap, is made to keep things in, out of the weather.

Don’t get me wrong, the smart cap is the best cap on the market, IMO but that doesn’t mean the flaws arnt there haha.

Most of the water leaking onto the bed (as I've heard) is through the bed gaps. So all of the sealing I've done, is to the Tacoma.

Doesn’t really matter what LED bulb they are using if they are going in those linked halogen projectors…

I’ve never heard of a “halogen projector”… if you’re talking about the refractor lenses, sure but there are clearly projectors for the low beams.

More or less the last month.
Threw a 10 year old 36" baja designs light bar in the grille, plated the front crossmember/steering bungs/diff bungs, replaced bent steering rack bolts, new Allpro gas tank skid, and another new rear dline

Pages and pages and pages of google search…. Not one him on a halogen projector compared to a LED or HID projector.

You can continue to twist your mustache or you can provide some knowledge and help….

Thanks. That was not in the lighting forum, where I foolishly assumed it would be.

nor did it show up on google.

only “issue” I have, he only tested the “side firing” LED bulbs but that’s not really his fault. The Alpharex bulbs are new tech from what I can see. https://caliraisedled.com/products/...EZ2b9il-Nnd0cp8oeXGuM5fVXXI6eUnxoC6j4QAvD_BwE
