What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Yesterday I disassembled my AAL and greased leafs and factory leaf pack. Squeaking gone...for now. I also ordered a used set of OEM Pro headlights from eBay and had them shipped directly to Kevin for badge removal. Can't wait to see them installed on my 18 BBP. Zero chrome!

I tried from 3 auto places locking caps and all produced CEL: AutoZone, NAPA, Advance Autos

Finally able to order from O'Reilly's online and have not had any issues.

RCI. Could be i guess, but i shot it with rust preventing paint.

 

Redid this custom made shell with Herculiner. Purchased from CodyJ. If I had to do it again, I would have chosen something’s with UV protectant, like Monstaliner. I sprayed matte clear on it, and it turned milky. Another two coats of gloss brought it back, not 100% but close:

Well, it may be a while. I have been too busy on my house and still have a stack of upgrades in my garage to install and I have not even started yet on audio or sound deadening. With any luck, later this year or so.....

 

No, anything downwind of the muffler is insignificant. Some say fumes can get into the cab but I haven't had that issue, even with the rear open.

Yes, I went to the tow yard the following day, but I was too sore to be very effective. I didn’t have a lot of accessories on the truck, so that was good I guess. My Bakflip CS cover was broke so I didn’t bother … I did take off the running boards that came off a limited, because they did not look bent. Even my toolbox in the back was dented, but I took everything I could. The only things I didn’t take off was my Curt tow hitch, or my TRD Offroad rims (front left one was toast though). I think they’ll give me a chance to take that stuff if I still want to.
