Installed my Diode Dynamics Elite series fogs. Love that they basically look OEM, and I can't wait to see how they look tonight.

Who piggybacked the reservoir like that? The 5160's come with a mount that clamps them to the frame rail....at least they used to. Cycle the rear suspension with a floor jack until you are against the bump stop and see what it looks like. It looks like the reservoir is not hanging lower than the shock body, and completely bottomed out, I have about 1'' of shock shaft left, so you are probably fine. I can see your concern though, rotate the reservoir so it is toward the back of the truck?

One of my right rear shock's resi clamps broke on the trail. Removed the resi bracket to clean up the area and replace the clamp. There is no rust on the frame, but a lot of dirt buildup from the Fluid Film sprayed during the original install 4 years ago:

The local hardware stores don't carry the #36 (46-70mm) clamp. I used #48 (65-89mm) stainless clamps and trimmed the excess. Installed with Cosmoline:

Received the new KDMax v10.0 tune, flashed it myself with my OV Tune?Tactrix cable, and license. So smooth, and seamless. it is waaaay better than the stock ecu ever was. huge improvements over the original OV Tune, and 2.0. each version of the KDMax stuff just gets better and better. the more parameters OV gives the tuners, the better these tunes, and our truck get. I need more time on it, for an honest review but, if the 50 miles I just drove, after the flash, is any indication of what is to come... I know it is going to be great. holding gears longer, throttle sensitivity is great, passing power, downshifts/upshifts, & speed/power delivery, through the tune are awesome. I did a 55-95mph run on a straight back road, with no traffic, it was pretty impressive. If you are on the fence, this tune, and this group, are awesome to work with. go get you some! Ski

    @Mark77

Yeah, I thought so too. ($99.99/PR and 2PR are required $199.98)

    See if Chloe Kuo's 5% off works..."CHLOEKUO".

I think I'd get Total Chaos Bed Stiffeners first...those are $179.37 for 1PR but they are out of stock.

Updated the truck to the newest kdmax pro 10 tune with sport throttle. It’s even better than before, really smooth shifts and holds gears like it should’ve. I’ve had every tune starting with kdmax 6 and every time they out do themselves making it just that much better

Yeah I had the opportunity to flash KDMax Pro 10 today myself. Updates are always one step better than the last. Can't wait to see what the Pro 10 has to offer. Thanks PapaRee! Your a great man to deal with and I know you always have my back when it comes to flashing tunes. I've never had a problem but I know you'll walk me out of it if I do.:oldglory:

A few mods installed. Gotta love Memorial Day sales.
    • OEM power tailgate lock
    • OEM air flow accelerator
    • RCI bed stiffeners
    • Diode Dynamics Elite amber fogs
    20230604_173306.jpg

    20230604_173217.jpg

All the mods were straightforward and fairly easy to install. The most challenging part were the cable clips between the bed and tailgate for the tailgate lock cable.

That should be it for mods for a little while. In order to keep the peace I probably need to cut down on boxes being delivered to the house.

Pulled the Morimoto XB license plate lights out and reinstalled the oem 194 bulb pods. Didn’t even make it a year before one of the led pods failed over half of them are out. Got an email out to check warranty so we will see. Hard to see in the pic but I’m pretty sure only one of the LEDs was lit up.
