    Dang!

    Lots of driving.

I haven't gone on any long trips and work is 4.5 miles away...10 miles per day/50 miles per week.

Travel to Baltimore/Wilmington and sometimes Philly...but mostly to Rehoboth/Dewey Beach & Indian River on summer weekends.

Changed the oil and filter today. Also emptied the catch can. Then I put my new to me Rough Country front molle panel in place. Just need to locate my tool to remove 2 bed bolts so I can button everything up. Thanks @taco.MARK for the fantastic deal and it was great to meet you today. 20230605_165547.jpg 20230605_192133.jpg

I have a work rig (1st Gen with 260,000+), the '20 is my hunting/mtb rig and stays parked during the week. It's what it's for I guess...

nicest bed stiffeners out there but after installing mine they started rusting at spots where the powder coat wasn't applied properly. I had to clean and coat those areas to prevent rusting - keep a close eye on the joints.

Tunes work still using 87 gas?

I went by a local wrap shop last week, and took my front emblem. They are supposed to send me an image to approve tomorrow or Wednesday.

As a guy whose eyers are getting older, I can appreciate the concept, but that takes OCD to a whole new level.

My '89 had about 225k on it when I sold it (my old mechanic said it was still running around town a few years back) and my '99 made it to 310k. The '16 only has 85k.

Like a lot of others here, I took advantage of the Memorial Day discount @RCI and got a set of bed stiffeners and an engine skid plate (steel powder coated). FedEx $70. 2 pieces due on June 1. Received 2 of 2 on June 1 (stiffeners) and shipping notes stated 1 of 2 not delivered due to 'delivery exception'. Well, here we go! So I just kept checking the shipping notes daily and saw item was taken back to terminal for 'inspection' and was finally sent back out today. This is what I got:
    001.jpg
All four corners busted open and tape added. We know stuff gets tossed around during shipping, but what is going to happen when you put a 45lb sheet of steel in a cardboard box with nothing supporting the corners of the steel? I don't want to be an AH about this but come on! I'm going to have to touch up the plate where the powder coat has rubbed off. I have notified the manufacturer (objectively) that improvements could be make to packaging to make damage less likely. They seem like quality pieces, but if I was going to order rock sliders and have them shipped, forget that now. YMMV
BTW that circle on the box that looks like a butt with a string coming out of it is actually the number 37 turned sideways. I think. Who the f knows.

I have nothing but problems with Fedex. Every single time I have something shipped to me by them the package is days late and damaged. I have no problems with UPS or USPS , even DHL rocks. Just freaking FedEx.

Sliders are typically shipped on a pallet, at least mine were, and required pickup at UPS Freight.
