Some have experienced low AT fluid levels from the factory.

Installed the victory bed stiffeners yesterday.

Question… if I don’t put the d rings back, will I have any problems or regret not putting them back on?

Are the Victory bed stiffies the ones that come about 1/2 way up the bed side?
The TC stiffies I installed on our Taco have 3 rings built in, so you loose 2 and gain 4.
    Not sure on the Victories.

It’s exactly these in the photo I copied from their site. I couldn’t get the left side to line up to put the d ring back on. So I said fuck it and stored it in a bag. It was too damn hot of a day and gave up quick.

It's fine without them. The total chaos versions don't reuse them either.

Looks.like you lost two and gained two.
May or may not have some issues sliding wide loads in and out of the bed.

Wasn't planning on doing anything to my Tacoma today until I discovered the new Winjet led tail light couldn't handle the underbody flush. Lovely.

Ya man. A little can go a long way. Drove my '16 stock for 7yrs. Now I'm dropping a little into it and it feels like driving a new truck again. Another 7yrs maybe I'll get a new one?

Yeah little things make a difference. Right after I got it I did a ton of things to it. That slowed down. In fact the last mod was 6 months ago. The big cup holder, very functional and worthwhile.

Yesterday I replaced the original front "skids" with the 1/4" Aluminum TRD option. The original 2 pieces were less than 2 pounds combined, the TRD version is ~28 pounds per my scale.

I finally installed an LED light strip under the hood. Wiring and electrical stuff has always been one of my weaknesses but I promised myself I'd try to get better at it this year. The install was pretty easy! For $13, this thing is super bright.

1983 restoration in progress, major mods so far new 6" lift and 35" Mickey Thompsons.
I've got a '16 that just like you is mostly stock, not driven much, but now that I'm driving it more I've started with the mods. Already in hand, VLed foot well lights, Pro grille (never was crazy about the Limited grille), Germes Lab front camera, Redarc trailerbrake adapter, 2lo kit, and sequential mirror turn signals. Still deciding on the lift and tires, but that will be awhile down the road. Like you, feels like a new truck!

The weather said 15% chance of rain, so I decided to install my new Form Lighting headlights... I finished just in time. For SR5 owners wondering, these lights are a direct plug n play. They include the harness needed to make the LED running lights work.

Looks awesome. Going to have to keep this set in mind for down the road. I definitely want to upgrade my SR5s halogens someday.
