Yep, tried it fast, slow and in-between. Just get the series of 7 light flashes and then nothing. The only "chirps" are the normal lock sounds though.

Doing a no-lift suspension upgrade / refresh soon
Awaiting some oem Toyota LCA and UCA bushings + new hardware bits

Even though it's an access cab and I'm not lifting it, I'm debating if it's worth doing the ECGS bushing if I'm gunna have the entire front end apart?

I did it on my 2.7 AC with 5100's set at .65 a few weeks ago i figured i already had it apart why not would rather not have an issue in the future. I also put a small bead of weld on the lca tabs to hopefully prevent them from bending. With the no lift option on the bilsteins i doubt you will have an issue. I normally see the issue with 1.5'' and up in the front it was just cheap assurance for me.

My truck has 110k on the odo.. i'm wondering if I could do more harm than good by doing the ECGS swap in case the diff opening and flange area are kind of rusty or otherwise not pristine? With vehicles I've learned that "if it aint broke dont fix it" usually works out best. But should the needle bearing wear out I'll be doing most of this work twice over..... decisions! lol

Very nice! Love seeing homemade setups. I did something similar so I'm able to throw my bike on top of the stock tonneau.

Agree i usually have the same mindset, but i also hate doing things twice. My truck only has 22k on it and i will say its amazing how much tighter the bushing is on the axle vs the bearing i pulled out. I was toying with it on the bench once i got the bearing out, i would consider mine almost new at that mileage and there was a significant amount of play vs the bushing. its a pretty simple install i picked up the removal and installation tool wound up selling them here in the marketplace after, hardest part was prying the axle out.

I got the 20 OR too, I heard that my remote start would expire in one year, sooo, I installed the remote X, was about $100 and easy install, and I can continue to remotely start.

I think it was really sneaky of Toyota to expire that feature within one year, I wonder if this is mentioned in the owners manual?

I press my lock button three times (slowly) then hold (light show then it starts). Works every time.
Edit: Once the light show starts, keep the button depressed until it starts.

I went through the remote start with the dealer. They say due to complaints, you can start car with your key fob for 10 yrs before you pay. I had all the app shit removed from my truck. Press the lock button 3 times rapidly, not waiting for beeps or lights, again, not waiting- when you press & hold the 4th time, hold it until it starts. Only works from 100 ft or less & probably not through walls & obstacles. Also- there's no indication on your fob your car is started & running. Useless IMO.

Btw did you run a spacer or AAL in the back with the fronts set at .65? Or just oem leafs and the 5100s?

Installed the Morimoto third brake light. What a pain in the ass. To make it worse the hyper flash module I paid extra for shipped separately. Figured that out halfway through installing.

I almost got green but figured it would get old after awhile. Tan was my #1 they made me want a Tacoma but they stopped in 2017 and it was too hard to find
