That was definitely a pain in the ass. I was afraid of breaking something when trying to pull the bumper away. I adjusted them last night and I maxed out the adjustment screw and was still slightly off. I couldn't believe how "out of adjustment" they were. The passenger side is still low but I was able to get the drivers side pretty much on point. Did you have any issues?

no, no issues with the alignment. I was able to set the height using the adjustment screw.
I have found that so far all additions and upgrades have gone pretty smooth. Toyota has made it very easy to make additions and adjustments. Except for that crazy hidden 10mm bolt for the headlight.

Thanks man! They are actually the TRD replica wheels. 17x8 +5 offset. I love the stance.

I can't comment on those guards but I did install some ARK splash guards a couple weeks ago. Definitely thicker than OEM. I like the 1 piece better than the two. Looks like better overall coverage too. I didn't even know I was missing one of my drivers side covers either. These took all of 10 minutes to put in and that includes the removal of the OEM ones. The ARK clips are easier to install and remove too.

This is probably a stupid question, but do you think there’s any effect of heat dissipation/engine cooling with the larger guards? I like these, thoughts?

I have some bigger fender liners, as well as a few things in front of the radiator, hidden winch and light bars. Once I thought something was really burning up but it turned out to be a ton of mud and gravel caked in between the skid and front diff.

Nice, been thinking about this mod. My DCLB came with the plastic blanks.

How easy of an install is it actually, does it plug and play into some harness that already exists in the truck?

How do you like those AT3’s? They’re going to be my next set when I find the right wheels I like.

I'll take some install photos, its litterally plug in and go, Mine came with the plastic covers too. You do have to take the tail light off, but thats easy. Had i been thinking with my pea brain, last weekend i changed the tail lights, i could have pushed the wire that these connect to into the back hole and would have been a 1 min install but, oh well !!

I'll take photos and stuff and post ! ( maybe a new thread but i'll link it here )

    Thanks!
Thought about this several times, but didn't really want to deal with having to wire anything up or chase down any connections in the truck
Plug and play I can handle!

I was able to get this done today. It's not perfect but it is better.

After lightly smooshing my driver's side view mirror here was the damage after pulling off the painted cap.
    IMG_20230723_113508384_HDR~2.jpg IMG_20230723_113454621~2.jpg

I removed 2 screws and this part of the main assembly was easily pulled off
    IMG_20230723_114842016_HDR.jpg

With an assortment of needle nose pliers and a heat gun I was able to get everything back into shape...had I clipped my mirror when it was cold outside I would imagine I would have busted something.. it was 100 degrees and my truck was baking in the sun all day so all I had was deformed plastic.

I put everything back together after some careful heating and massaging and was left with this..... all the pieces mated up and fit back together where they should be..small dent still in the main rim of the assembly...Not perfect, but it's much better... No money wasted.

Out of curiosity, if the bed lights are plug and play, what turns them on, do they come on when you hit the squid launcher?

I’ve been a fan of the AT2’s for years having them on 3 different trucks. They were really soft ride, quiet, and surefooted in the wet and ice. This will be my first set of 3’s. Sorry for bugging you too early about them lol. Lemme know how you like them. :)

Looks like a legit mic, same like I used to use with my Audio Control RTA for SQ tuning back in the day.

Did you just take measurements from Driver's seat, or multiple positions?
I would always give our customers options, but for the most part, I would advise that if the driver was the one paying for the bill, then they should get the best sound.....
Sometimes we would take measurements with an employee in the driver's seat since a body now changes acoustics and check right and left ear positions. Fun times.
