Received my TRD Pro shift knob today. Also installed the TVD Vinyl Decals. Came to the realization that my eye sight and hand eye coordination are not what they used to be. After lots of cussing and destroying the extras, got it good enough. Pretty sure the D is backwards, whatever.

Made a DIY dash rail with some scrap aluminum, a $15 MagSafe phone mount and $5 on some hardware. Already had the MagSafe phone case.

just need to paint it. Very satisfied

Ordered wrong part. i wanted the bed side rail cover without the tonneau cover. And it still have the cut for OEM tonneau cover. Which I didn’t want. (Trying to go roll up cover) yes i have both side.

any of ya know the part number for without the cut? Also do 2nd gen bed side rail cover fit on 3rd gen?

Got tired of looking at my rapidly deteriorating prinsu rack so I went ahead and gave the truck a haircut. After driving it for a few weeks now without the rack assembly I had uptop all I can say is wow. The truck feels like a damn race car in comparison and I gained back 3L/100km across 3 tanks now. I knew it would made a difference but holy it was drastic.
If prinsu doesn't warranty the rack I don't think it's going back on.

Fedex lost this for a handful of days, but finally recieved my Manual tcase. Probably swap it in Friday, and goodbye to the picky/unreliable electrical stuff for good.

The center of the Hitchpod does not have LEDs. This confused me too, but I asked Diode Dynamics and they confirmed that the center does not have LEDs. Also, pretty sure the LEDs are red/white combo. You get the reverse white by applying voltage to one cathode on the board and red on a different cathode.

The reverse camera can be adjusted via the head unit--that might fix your issue of being able to see the light.

For LED interior light conversions, I recommend VLEDs in either 5000k or red so that you don't kill your night vision. Bonus points, the LEDs in this kit are the same ones in the footwell kit, so everything comes out color matched. I would also recommend picking up replacement license plate lights if you hate the OEM halogens, but be warned that you might find yourself wanting either a DIR harness or the little blocking plates so that the rear camera doesn't get washed out from the increased light output.

This had crossed my mind. Might be an option to try. At the very least, it's a cheap experiment that is multi-purpose if it doesn't work out.

^^^^^ This. I've left mine on for the same reason. It's awkward for me and my girlfriend getting in, but we've gotten used to it, and it's great ding protection!
