At some point I need to start bolting on some of these things. o_O

The -38 stealth indigo SCS BR6's and lug nuts arrived earlier this week. I can't decide between these or the electric teal falcon t8 seekers.

I used that radar cruise control for the first time coming back from Longview on I-5 in the wee hrs and it worked surprisingly well. Kinda neat how it decelerates on its own when sensing a slower vehicle up ahead. The it resumes it’s set speed once I change lanes. Kinda cool. Never really used CC before on account of too much fiddling and I might start to use it again on longer trips

Finally tried out my tent. It’s MUCH better than trying to sleep in a 5ft bed. Hanging out with some buddies at Overland Expo East for the weekend. I also got a hand-me-down TRD grill from my buddy for $50 and his hook road tailgate cover for free. It’s nice having friends that keep buying new stuff so I get good deals lol.

I found the same thing. Once I figured out how to use it confidently. I use it all the time in the right conditions. I even use the CC stalk to control road speed too. Sit in the slow lane sipping my Coffee and keeping my stress level down.

I just watched some youtube videos and winged it! Haha probably not the "safest" route, and I had my doubts along the way. Especially when lining up the new fender -- you gotta make sure the door opens and has an even gap...and the same with the hood, gotta make sure it has equal spacing to the other side. Luckily I could tell were the bolts were secured from the original fender and that got me close. After that, I just massaged it into place.

Here's the youtube videos I watched:

Did you take out the front seats to install the covers?

Yep, I need to finish mine (under truck lighting), planned to have it dim slowly off with the cabin light.
When you get older, heck even if you are young, it's not difficult to roll your ankle on uneven ground. I saw a person do this playing frisbee. Once it happens, it happens much easier a second time. Looks aweful and must be painful.
Yeah, also if you've ever slipped on ice going to your car, or getting out.
It can help you locate the truck in a parking lot.

All things that are helpful, specially when you get older. :drunk:

Warn bumper and winch. I was gonna sell the bumper before even installing, didn't seem like a clean enough fitment for me....got drunk and just slapped it on. Ended up liking it. Install was stupid easy, especially since you install the winch after you install the bumper. Needed light trimming of the factory bumper but I made a cut to make it look cleaner. Waiting on my flatlink shackle now to remove the Warn hook.

Silly question. It is step 1, of a 2 step process, that fools people into thinking you own a more expensive Ford Raptor. Naturally step 2 is the Raptor grille mod. Why else would you add Ford style lights to a Toyota. It certainly isn't a "follow the leader" mod. Or is it. I guess when Mr Cool glues a bucket to his roof then thousands of followers will do it because Mr Cool did it so it must be cool.

I used to hate cruise control and never used it. Decided to try it out on a 6 hour trip down 40 and I’m a big fan now.
