Hated the chrome bumper caps so I took them off sanded and sprayed with bedliner. Came out super nice and has a great texture.

Finally got my wheel/tire setup complete. Super happy with how it came out and it rides great. I was reluctant to go up to a 285 from stock setup and I'm glad I took a baby step first. I've got a tiny bit of rub on my passenger cab mount, so I'll end up doing a chop on both sides for plenty of clearance and then next time I need tires I can go up to the 285s. Front bumper corners also needed a bit of trimming, but that's easy and already done. I just had to get the picture in front of Target for the lulz #targetsponsored

FYI suspension setup is eibach stage 2 with a 1in rear lift block

Got the auxbeam installed in engine bay and wires through firewall will work on the interior setup tomorrow or Thursday and do wire management when it’s finished.

Lol it’s really not as bad as it looks. For whatever reason my thumb bled a lot though. It’s deep but borderline needing a stitch or 5. Definitely didn’t feel great. Why you shouldn’t ever do something when in a hurry

I was swapping out the white lenses on my Diode bar to Ambers and and wanted to test it so I pulled out a 9 volt and did it for the shits and giggles and it worked.

Thanks, had to do some modifications to the C-pillar but well worth it. I just couldn’t drill a hole in the rear doors just to install tweeters, had to find a better location.

Moved from Oregon to California so had to get her smogged and went to dmv smiling with smog certificate in hand until the lady told me ok that’ll be 4900.00 dollars
Since I had the truck for less than a year I have to pay sales tax in California even though I bought it in Oregon … Wtf !!!
Wow that was an expensive Smog/Registration:rolleyes: if I would of known a head of time I would of been prepared to grab my ankles o_O

285/75/r16 Nitto Trail Grappler M/T’s, Extang 2.0 hard tonneau tri-fold. Billstein 5100’s front/rear with OME 886 coils and Headstrong off-road 3 leaf progressive AAL. Installed a Uniden PRO505XL CB radio and 4’ Firefly (by FireStik) antenna. Used an 18’ PL259 coaxial cable and Rago Fabrication antenna mount.

The hardest part of the install was snaking the cable through the frame past the fuel tank. I went through the grommet under the driver seat and then unbolted the front of the seat to pass the cable up to the side of the console (another tight space).

I wire brushed and sanded the powder coat off of the mount where the bottom of the antenna stud mount goes for ground. The antenna I received (from Amazon) had a small slit in the sheathing near the top. I just used some electrical tape to rid it of any transmission seepage.

I was able to get an SWR meter reading of 1 for ch1 and ch20 and a reading of 1.3 for ch40. Additionally the antenna I received didn’t have a tip to cover the tuning hardware. I ordered a couple packs (4 total) and of course the I.D. was a little too big and so I wrapped more electrical tape until it was nice and snug.

Oh, also ordered the stubby mic holder from BulletPoint Mounting Solutions to add to the Taco Bar. I also used Velcro to mount the CB until I’m 100% sure where its new forever home will be.
