Oh yeah, been here several times, but that darn plastic retainer is the devil every other time I've had to pull the cover off. I miss rigs that are simply bolted together...

You took that much plastic apart and only had that damage. That’s pro level I don’t care who you are! I’d have to sell it as-is just to get it out of my sight/mind with all the stuff I’d have broken.

Just got my tacoma last month and have been doing a bunch of small things to it. Did the meso customs blackout, knock off TRD shift knob, and AJT cup holder swap this past weekend.

Looks like it ended well. Heard it’s a PITA to remove the factory shackles. If the picture is a representation of both sides then congratulations! Job well done! Get some well deserved rest.

HAHAHA yes they could. It’s more for my peace knowing I at least tried  I might get a bigger lock, I ordered them at the same time not knowing the size hole the mounts had.

Blackout package - planned: black bed logos, black wheel vinyls, front seat window tint, tires.
No pics, but installed a third-party bed step, smoked sequential mirror turn signals, and Seat Jackers on the passenger side.

Has anyone with a power driver seat installed the Seat Jackers on the driver's seat? It shouldn't be any different, but I'm trying to decide if it is necessary or not. I get a little uncomfortable on long trips, but not sure it's worth it for me. I guess I'm the only one who can determine that, though. ;)

I did the driver seat with power seat. I think it made a comfort difference.

I did and I only did the front ones. I’m not sure if you need both front and back but I like how the front sits higher and I haven’t had any issues. Definitely makes it more comfortable for me. Been thinking about grabbing the back ones but I like the rake

OTD after taxes and install was $3600 where as for the Leer 180 and ARe MX I was looking at $4200 before taxes.

Taking my time and installed pass side C4 liner, will start on driver side tomorrow, getting ready for Mickey Thompson Baja Boss AT but unsure if I should go 35’s or 255/85r17 what do you guys/gals think? Also waiting on the Toyota adhesive pads so I can reinstall trimmed flares.CBB0F4C5-F6FD-4F23-83F2-C569931F8B3A.jpg51196FF4-EAC6-41C3-BCB2-6E4933C51223.jpg

I finally got my bluetooth carplay dongle mounted under USB port vs hanging down. I struggled at first to get anything to stick even after wiping with alcohol. I finally took some sandpaper and "lightly" scuffed the area, wiped with alcohol and mounted a 3m velcro square. Still holding, sorry don't have a pic.
