It's probably just some smoked tint. That's what I did 4 years ago when I first bought my truck.....it was my first modification. Not one issue with TSS this far and I use it daily. Here's the best photo I have at the moment.. you can see most of it.

Upon closer inspection.... I guess I'm also interested in what he's got going on there... Maybe it's just a vinyl sombrero overlay?

Spent a few minutes doing the AC drain relo last night, considering it's the first time since I got the truck in October that I'll be using the AC. My former Mazda6 had a full blown subframe replacement (under recall somehow) due to the AC drain just puking all over and I don't want this truck to suffer the same fate. There are no pics because the DIY has all the pics you could want. Only difference is I used a hose barb to just put into the drain itself and worm clamped it, then ran more 3/8 hose down the spot specified.

Love this thread. Most of the mods I won’t do but like looking at what others are doing. All I have done so far is install an OEM bed step, Weathertech mats, Modesta coating on the exterior, just ordered AJT radio knobs, drilled larger drain holes in the bed, installed an AC drain hose, bought Motovix filter housing drain hose.

Was gonna change my oil this morning but I still think there are eclipse zombies roaming about and I’m a scardy cat.

I've been hemming and hawing if I want to go wash the truck today... fine, I will. It's a nice sunny day today anyway, good day to be outside!

I have not disabled cell, and now videos come right to my phone. The first time, I think I had issue since the Apple warning to allow access popped up. The next couple (just so I could see) went pretty fast, almost thought too fast. I have disabled sound recording, don't want the courtroom to have to hear my karaoke :lalala:

This morning I almost had to use the recordings, but for a fellow traveler. Some little truck passed everyone on the right in the bike lane/intersection. Proceeded to cut several people off down the road. I caught up to a red light and couldn't figure out why that truck and another were stopped, thought maybe they met by accident. The crazy driver had stopped and got out of his truck to yell at teh person who took offense to his driving all over the road.
I passed that event, but he soon passed again after I got out of his way. He continued to ignore lines on the road until I turned off a few miles later.:brianr:

Threw the extra OEM "4x4" emblem on. Not sure why, always liked the look on the sr5s and Pros. Depressing side note, while vacuuming the truck out I noticed a small collection of dead "flying ants" along the foundation in the garage... termites, yay!

I respectfully suggest you find the source of the termites....FAST. Don't ask me why I make this request.

I'd like to see one of these in a stripped down 'street tracker' version. I loved those Yamaha XS650's in the 70's and 80's.
