Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
Getting ready for a big road trip. Rotated the air in the tires, did some cleaning and started packing. And I pulled the LF shock and adjusted the preload to eliminate my Taco lean.

i have the key-less one from meso with NO problems at all.....luv it
but....the oem seems better built and much more likely to survive drops, and mine is alone in my pocket and never comes out

Added another switching relay to my ABC kit and placed it under the truck, on the crossmember tucked up in a little pocket that should be pretty well protected. This gets me undercarriage cam to go with my front facing cam, rear cam relocate (bc of the swingout) and my rearview mirror camera that sits up on my rear roof rack. Its nice to be able to see whats around me again since the parking sensors and BSM were lost due to HC bumper.

Ya the keyless one seems kind of pointless, while the flipfob serves a purpose for us key dudes. No more stabbing ourselves. I love it. Wish he would redesign the current version somehow though. They are up to v3 minimalist keyfob, only one version of flipfob

Completed the anytime front camera install. Put the camera a little off center to avoid the TSS sensor but you can hardly tell on the screen. Also completed the install on the front end lights. Baja Designs Squadron fog lights hooked up to the Auxbeam to control them when I want them on. Also 32” Cali Rasied Sealth light bar which was easy to install until attaching the light bar to the brackets. There was no way I could get my hands in the small space to start the bolt. I was going to take off the whole bumper cover until the wife came to the rescue! She got it started and finished the passenger side because she is left handed I think. Either way she saved the day! Watched the install video and they say that this stage is going to be hard and then skip to it being done. Some tips or hacks on getting it secured would have been appreciated.

Also installed the Tacos4cheap letters and TRD symbol. It all took me several days mostly on the light bar. The fogs were relatively easy as well as the front camera.

I came up with a new way to mount my DIY Awning.

I upgraded the attachment points to the truck so I didn't need Bimini fittings with quick release pins. The new mounts snap onto the rock slider tube and tube on the rear bumper.

The result is the poles stay fixed in position before I have the tarp installed. With the old Bimini fittings the poles would flop to one side unless a 2nd person held them in place. Now it is free standing before the tarp is installed. Even without the cross member. And a one person setup instead of two. Which means my wife can help with the tarp instead of holding things up; basically cutting the setup time in half.

    upload_2024-4-17_21-17-12.png

That makes adding the cross member (and tarp) much much easier
    upload_2024-4-17_21-17-34.png

What I like about my DIY awning is that the support poles are attached to my Tacoma which makes it much more adjustable. It is much stronger than commercial tarps I've seen with replacement parts easily sourced. It can be adjusted to suit wind and rain. And I don't need to stake it down with ropes (IMHO stakes are dumb).

Here is a pic from our first night camping in Anza Borrego two weeks ago when intermittent rain was no trouble at all.

Picked up a TRDpro exhaust for 50$ today. Lopped it off after the axle.

I love the sound, and there no drone.

Took me maybe... 20 min to swap?

    Brand new.
I got some heavy duty vinyl gasket material from a local pool company and I'm going to encase my sensor around it except in front of it and seal it up to protect it, i agree the ice build up is a pain in the butt, especially if it is hindered as it helps stop you from hitting someone. I will post photos once I am completed.

What relocation kit did you use for your backup camera? Any pics of it? I just added a swing out and have been missing the backup camera a little bit more than I expected I would.

https://tailgatecamera.com/collecti...-hd-18-5mm-camera-kit-with-oem-wiring-harness this one! Plugs right into your OE harness and you leave you OE camera in the tailgate. Its a bit pricey but worth saving the hassle. Plus if I ever change bumpers to a non swingout, it will be in the tailgate waiting for me.

Mind sharing what wheels you have? New wheels and tires are planned for this fall and was leaning towards a bronze, but I've seen a few silver and gunmetal with white Tacos and the look is growing on me.

Guys, while changing your spark plugs, is the manifold gasket required to be replaced?

The spark plugs that you are looking for are in stock for $ 18.27 each. You will also need the intake manifold gasket that would run you $ 48.82 that is also in stock.
