Well. Myself, nor anyone I know has ever needed a Taco tailgate. So from my perspective, a "hot" tailgate has no value at all.

Perhaps value it is based on location.... like real-estate.

Every time I consider ceramic coating I read through the application instructions and say f this. I just don’t have the patience. I’ll stick with waxing a couple or 3 times a year. I actually enjoy it and now I have microfiber bonnets for my orbital buffer so it saves time and effort.

You gotta do what you gotta do. But arent you worried about the wear on the diff and cv axles/joints?

Just make sure not to wax the black plastic parts! Made that mistake on my car.

That is one of the good things about the Aero Cosmetics. You can spray it on virtually everything and it buffs right off.

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
Why would it be any different than being in 4WD off road? Without a rear driveshaft, it won't bind up on pavement.

There are apps that seem to facilitate among other things, the sale of stolen property. This is in my area & there are dozens more.

Went under the truck to verify I greased the five zerks and hit them again but I couldn’t get to the rear zerk for the front differential under the shield by the exhaust crossover
The fitting is at an angle and I can’t get the coupler to engage
How do you get to it?
    Thanks
    Jim

It handles more like a car, that is for sure. It does lean a bit more in the corners, but leaning and stability don't exactly correlate as most like to think it does. It is complicated, but the biggest difference with removing the front sway bar is that it makes the truck 'less responsive feeling', initially, as the wheels began to turn. But overall it feels a lot nicer over corners as a whole with the outer rear dip/twisting being somewhat negated with the truck being more level with itself.

Busy morning…changed oil, Fumoto valve installed, rotated the tires, and the new to me Meso Total Tails that I bought from @K9tacoma
Thanks for the quick shipping and the great deal they looked brand new. I expected at least some dust on the harnesses but nope clean as a pin. Another great deal from a fellow Tacoma owner. Sorry no pic just too busy trying to finish before the wife got home. A half hour to spare.

Job well done! Any thoughts on the Fumoto valve? I'm looking to install one on my next oil change. I see there may be different versions? Thanks

I like the design of it. Basically it’s a banjo fitting and seems well made. There are justifiable concerns over the durability if you are a rock bouncer or someone who offloads a lot but my truck is just a mall crawler with an occasional trip to the deer lease. I have a side by side for the rough trips. I think it is close enough to the oil pan and lower than the cross member so it will be protected. I can’t comment on the drain speed for a few more miles. Time will tell…

Thanks for your thoughts! The clearance issue is definitely a concern for me.
