Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
Took the ole girl into town for an expensive afternoon. New hearing aids for me to the tune of $6k (oof!) and new shoes for her!

With the LRA tank you have 8 gallons left when you hit empty, or just over 100 miles range.

Gotcha. Yeah a full package of the 36 square feet I think would get your C pillars, back wall and likely most if not all the back floor done. No guarantees though.

Ran power into the cab. I know it doesn't look great but this is one of the few spots I felt comfortable digging into keeping in mind all the " I hit a wire cluster" followed by " that will cost you thousands". One of the better mods I've undertaken. Ran the wire into the back seat area, where I have removed the back seat. Hooked it up to a light I bought. The concept is right, not sure I have the right light setup.PXL_20240522_010058087.jpg

You are not living until you time your arrival at the gas station for 31 miles after the light comes on. Are you not brave enough, sir?

Funny, The wife and I have cross country camped in our Taco twice now, (good times!) and the only "OMG! we are low on fuel and not a station in sight" has happened in Pennsylvania, of all places. That north central region is not heavily settled. Moose, Elk, and WOLVES live there ;-)

With that, We get just about 22MPG with the 6MT ACC. But my wife tends to drive Faster when the fuel needle shows empty. She wants to get to the gas station sooner, before the rig runs out! ;-)

Ya’ll are braver than I…These days I start to freak out when I’m at quarter tank :D
Learned my lesson as a kid, having to walk two miles to the closest gas station with a plastic jug was no fun.

Looks very nice. Did you notice much sag in the front with the bumper and winch?

i didn’t measure but nothing noticeable. Maybe a slight different feel over bumps but that could be in my head. Not too worried as I’ll be changing out the suspension sometime this year anyway.

What has your experience been with MPGs and the roof rack when theres nothing on it? I've been debating if I want one, but I remember when I got one for my SUV it was a good 5mpg hit on the highway, 8mpg if you loaded anything on it.

Here's what I did...um...not today...but this week. I changed colors! And gens. My driveway used to look like this...

    Now it looks like this...

    Full stock for now.

    It's my first 3rd Gen after owning a 2010 2nd Gen and a 2014 2nd Gen.

This truck is way too shiny. It has yet to meet Plasti-Dip!

Even with nothing on it, you'll know it's there. I'm seeing about a 1 mpg hit into the wind (a bit less in crosswinds), with the wind it's fine.

One other thing I've noticed with the rack is it seems to be interfering with radio reception. Not a terrible interference, but I lose reception easier than before the rack was installed.
