    New shoes for my Taco

Cooper Discoverer S/T Maxx 265/75R 16, stock Off Road suspension..... No plans to change that.

I have to figure out what pressure to run these E rated tires on the street when I'm not loaded down or pulling our travel trailer. The shop set them at 44lbs......I may drop them 10 lbs.

half installed 1" body lift before i found out i dont have a t55 for bed bolts. but more importantly it looks like everyone is right and front body mounts are trash on these trucks. 2023 with 6000 miles and theyre done for.

Wow I got 60k miles mine must look 10 times worse than yours. How easy is the switch, and did you shop around for any particular type of kit? Not sure i would want a full 1" lift, maybe less.

Went to the shop to remove boxes from the rack so it can come off before body and paint. Still waiting for a bedside to materialize 6 weeks later. At least my truck has a friend...the tan one is in the same situation as mine.

I'm strongly considering goint to a flatbed at this point. :annoyed:

    Ugh.
Are you going to go with the factory bumper or replace it w/a steel bumper? Also, will the body shop put your tailgate decal back on or does insurance not cover mods?

UPS dropped off a long box today from e-trailer. I have not opened it yet.

    Inside is

Thule TracRac TracONE Truck Bed Ladder Rack -

A start on an "over Softopper bed rack" with quick removable rear section.

    OH!

I used the tailgate on the taco to facilitate a woodworking project, refinishing a chest or drawers. The Taco was a workbench for setting up the oscillating sander. ;-) Sorry, no pics, It's a surprize for my wife!

I'm just trying to get the factory bumper back on but I'm being told by the shop that the bed sides and all the sensors are on backorder. They're monitoring wrecking yards but so far no luck. I never had much interest in a high clearance bumper but the longer this takes the more I'm thinking on it. I don't care about the sensors but I need the bed side either way obviously.

And as cool as a flat bed would be, those are pretty spendy (the prefab ones with the storage compartments), not sure the insurance companies would go for that. And I'd have to change my entire set up...which would be fun but again, expensive. I really just want it back the way it was. Ugh.

The shop is now trying to get approval from the insurance company for an entire pre-assembled OEM bed rather than piecing it together. Apparently that's quicker to get but more expensive. I should know by next week. Oh and the shop did say they're gonna find the decal and reapply it. Haha

Camping season is here...I want my truck back! :frusty:

Do your own research, but I was perfectly fine and much more comfortable at 32psi when I had E rated ko2s. 44 is wayyy too high. You can always do the chalk test after you set the new pressure to make sure you aren't too concave in the middle.
