I got the Amazon one and purchased an ambidextrous hard holster. De-Santis brand from Academy I think. And it connects on the outside. Not as fully as I’d have liked but it works.

So I bought a commercial grade party tent for camping. I’m a guy that prefers sleeping in the truck bed when camping but wanted room to stand to get dressed and also store totes, coolers, etc. even had a freak hail storm. Worked great.

Nothing exciting. New Windshield after catching a rock on my last road trip.

ESI tailgate seals; various varieties on Amazon.
These will cut dust infiltration dramatically, but there are still a few trouble spots: the little storage box, the drain holes up front (not much comes in there) and the corners of the bed (especially the top of the tailgate edges). I've ignored the drain holes & storage box and have used bits of squishy weatherstripping on the bed corners to get it acceptable for my needs (I'm usually on paved roads).

Is that a roll-a cot with the legs trimmed down? If so, by how much does it still clear the wheel well?

Might have to try this, every time I go out camping all my stuff gets dusty and I don't even go that hard in the dirt.

Yes, they are perforated. 3 Year Warranty, and an extra 1/2 inch of memory foam. Really comfortable.

rotated tires changed oil threw out the old air freshener.
Does it require re-calibration for the collision avoidance and adaptive cruise control?

Yes it did. Tried to take it to Safelite. But they would not touch it due to larger “non stock sized” tires. Locally owned place took care of it.

Got a chip on the hwy last saturday and a minute later, I heard a pop and it spread into an 8 inch crack. By the time I brought it to Safelite the following Tuesday, it was two feet long. They used Fuyao branded glass and I could immediate tell it was shit. Should've shopped around for other shops to see if they could source Toyota glass or at least Pilkington but this was my first glass claim ever and didn't know what to do other than go with Safelite. Lesson learned I guess. The Safelite front desk guy was really cool though. He said they see a lot of Tacos and Wranglers because of how much of these things are on the road and I added that these things also have damn near 90 degree windshields catching every little shit on the road.

BTW, is there a large gap on the top edge of your new windshield? I can fit my pinky finger between that top edge of the glass and the edge of the roof. I don't remember if the original Toyota glass was way close to the roof or if there was black weather stripping covering the gap.

Just a easy up? That's how I like to camp in my truck too. I wrap mine with camouflage leaf netting.

Didn't even think about that being a issue. So you were able to have everything recalibrated with your new windshield? I thought those sensors were in the grill.

Ha, I feel like Laphroaig is my go to, it's been years.

It's Laphroaig and Lagavulin when I want the smoke. Glenfiddich 15 or 18, and Glenlivet 25 when I want the softer side.

There was a time when you purchased a bottle of Laphroaig, the bottle would come with a small sheet of paper you would fill out and send into the distillery. It would grant you a land lease of a 1 foot by 1 foot square of the grain fields in Islay. It was great marketing and always made me smile.
I hope to one day take a trip to sample all the regions.

They still do that 1 sq ft. plot of land haha.

I get Laphroaig at my morning bar and they always give us that little paper. At home, I like a Balvenie 10, Bruchladdich, and Oban.
