Just added toolbox and roof-rack to haul my fishing boat 100's of miles into the backwoods every week. Goodrich K02s, Bilstein 5100 front and back, no lift.
Mosquitoes worse. Those spots brutal in June and July. I coat up thick in repellent and I bring several mosquito coils and Thermacell devices to put around my camp spots.

No bigfoot other than moose and bear tracks. This black bear track. My size 14 feet. He was a big male that followed me for about 100 yards and then lost interest. I went back to get a photo. His foot sinks in, and mine not at all. I did not have my bear spray with me on me that walk so that sucked. Normally I have 2 bear spray canisters on my pants belt when I park it and go walking. I love to walk game trails.

Speaking of Bigfoot, I know a pretty fun spot near Willow Creek, Ca. (Look that up for OG Bigfoot lore...my kid and I are into Cryptozoology...) So, the spot is near the original Bigfoot Film spot and is the exact spot where they filmed the Stegosaurus stampede in Jurrassic Park 2. Its called Fern Canyon and it is well worth a visit. I destroyed a 14' STI getting down to it. Knocked off the front bumper and blew the power steering rack. A Taco would do well. And if you go, stay here. Coho Cottages in Willow Creek. Awesome vibe.

I have 5 rifles but I leave them at home. I would rather have bear spray for a sudden charge where you have 5 seconds or less to react. Too easy to miss a shot with a firearm. Can’t miss with bear spray.

Good advice as mountain lions don't like the spray either and, compared to a bear, move like lightning charged four-legged razor blades. (We don't have too many bears where I normally hike. Lots of mountain cats and meth heads.) And Tahoe bears are kinda' "meh" when they see people.

Are you talking about Fern Canyon?

I believe mine came with 25% ceramic from the dealer all around except windshield. Although I think AZ only allows 33%. So I’ll be legally maxed out. Afraid that won’t help much when it’s 115° outside lol. and yep, looking forward to no daylight savings. The old lady’s parents and brother live there now, so we’re used to the no change for them at least.

Looks like 33% is the correct max for Arizona.

Actually, the sides were cooler than windshield, and the windshield tint (just applied 1 week ago) makes the car almost tolerable to get in (before AC) even after all day in the sun. My dashboard is also just a little warm now.

As to being pulled over for 25%, police pay "off the books" for windshield tint even though it is marginally legal. And many drive all the time at night with only "driving lights" that the vehicle turns on ... no effort to try to be really visible.

Heard a bit of creaking from the clutch pedal again when I went to leave work today. I used this bad boy to shoot some sil-glyde straight into the spot where the nubbin sits. Hopefully this lasts longer than a spritz of white lithium grease. I don't know why I didn't think of this sooner.

Finally installed. Last pic was taken about 60 ft away. Might have to adjust down a little. A1BDB6B8-8ABC-489A-8D25-4B8B72A9C7C8_1_201_a.jpg 80124B7E-A7F3-49CF-8735-51BDB0BC6C9F_1_201_a.jpg 4B15C120-00CA-4382-9240-7810741A7063_1_201_a.jpg

You want to find a level surface and a wall that you can project onto from 25’ back, like the wall on the right. Adjust the fog lights so the top of the fog beam pattern is about 4 inches down from the lamp center.

Agree, my suspension is stock, 22 OR AC and it's amazing where this truck has taken me, airing down makes a huge difference, and I have upgraded the front skid

I actually stayed there for 3 days. My son was building his house about 3 miles down the hwy. beautiful place, Willow Creek. His place is across the road from Trinity river.
