A fresh set of tires, an oil change and a full detail.
I really liked Meridian/Eagle ID. I'd like to explore northern ID, WA and OR more. Winter is closing in though. :annoyed:

The Great Lakes and FL are of interest. I've been considering getting a Winnebago Micro Minnie or Hike 100 travel trailer.

thank you! i ended up going with the DAC tent from softopper - it looked a bit more roomy although being less sturdy. I don't camp in much inclement weather so i figured the trade off was worth the extra room.

    We ALL must!!!

    What are you doing now???

    I said brakes....

    He said ALREADY. ?

I said I'm at 71k on the original pads...

He said....oh.... I didn't realize you had that many miles already.

I said...... That's why I'm always doing maintenance... That's why I bought a Toyota... Not for 100k, not for 200k, but for the 300k+ haul

Reminds me of a convo I had with someone recently. I was talking about building my next camper trailer and whether or not I wanted some features. They said to think about resale value and I told them I don't buy or build things with the next person in mind, I buy or build for myself. Thats why I never worry much about putting miles on my vehicle, I bought it to use it. They then stated they try to not put too many miles on in case they want sell it, so I asked them if they avoid having sex with their wife to save her for the next guy in case they get divorced. :notsure:

My neighbor is an engineer with a company truck. He does absolutely zero wrenching on anything he has.

He has seen me work on dozens of vehicles, and now he sees me tinkering at least once a week, usually 2-3+ times a week. Especially with everything I am working on sound wise. He made a comment about a week ago… so I said… “do ya have a minute? Come here…”

We sat in the truck for 30-45 minutes with me serving as DJ and him asking… “do you have this…?”

Yesterday, I way lying under the truck bolting up the new skid plate and just heard him chuckling.

(his son had a 2nd gen AC)

    Honestly, if I don’t slow down, I’m gonna need a support group.‍♂️

What’s the worst thing that could happen, someone rear ends you and launches boards through the rear glass and into your head?

Or the lumber scatters and becomes a jump ramp so the following vehicle lands on top of the truck?

I just want to make it clear, that’s not me! I would have opened my rear window shoving them against the windshield so I would only have 8 or 10 feet Cantilevered off my tailgate, oh yeah a tiny faded shop rage taped on the end for safety
