What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

OEM Toyota bed lights and tri-fold tonneau cover came new with the truck. Luckily, I got the bed mat before they got scarce.

The bed lights are helpful, but I might add side rail lights for better coverage.

 

I will wait until I do molle panels. Something to attach shovels and some chincy Christmas lights to.

I couldn’t do white personally, so my cement truck sports mgm for the logo on the grill.

What kind of mileage do you get?

 

Keep in mind, my truck is 2WD. If I’m not driving like a bat out of hell, I’ve seen 22mpg a couple of times. Without the air dam, upper 18’s was my best.

I know everyone says if I’m worried about mileage, I should have bought a Prius. I’ll get to the point of not caring whenever I decide to lift it but for now in it’s mostly stock form, I’ll do what I can to help the cause since gas is still expensive.

 

put these badges on my Taco. Switched from the factory black Tacoma emblems I had. Switched it up a but. Just received my bilstein 5100s and waiting on tires Falken WildPeak AT4s. Excited to see and feel the new ride.

Received a rock in road construction yesterday. Wouldn’t worry about it but it’s smack dab in middle of my view.
How costly is a replacement with radar, crash avoidance, lane sensing, etc?

 

Some insurance companies cover windshield repair and replacement. Just had a chip not quite the size of a dime repaired and it was fully covered. A replacement would have cost me a $100 deductible.

 

Finally got a sliding rear window installed yesterday! New rims will be next although the steelies have grown on me!

Got the DIY splash shields banged out last night and this morning. The original ones were so swollen from absorbing undercoating that they were puffed out into the wheel wells and one was rubbing the tire while turning. I used the template from here modified slightly, and cut them from 3/32 EPDM from Amazon. I was able to fit both on one 24"x48" sheet.
