I replaced all the interior lights as well. Probably the cheapest but most functional mod. You are dead on with the vanity lights. Just about blinded myself with them! Another good one is putting LED bulbs in the reverse lights. After having some tint put on, I really needed the extra light using the mirrors to back up. Just can't get used to trusting the back up camera.

Which LED kit did you go with, and what temperature lights? I’m considering the LED install, and am concerned that the 6000k lights will be too bright.

I read a post somewhere in this thread that stated the LEDS are polarized and if you put them in wrong you will blow a fuse. Is this true ?

It is behind the spot where the cargo light switch mounts on the lower left end of the dash.

The only ones that can be installed 180 out are the 4 vanity mirror(s) lights, I just held them up to the contacts and flipped the mirror cover/lid up to see if they worked or not, if yes then finish the install, if not then turn 180 degrees and test again, then finish install.... No blown fuse, I just made sure light was off before removing and installing them..
The only issue I had was removing the rear doom light cover, helps if you can see what you are doing... lol
Very simple install, I was more nervous about breaking something on a basically new truck then anything, I could do it much faster if I was to do it again...

My truck was in the shop for nearly 3 months after some jack-wagon rear ended me due to part backorder. I've had it back less than 2 months and someone backs into me at the parking garage at work. What the hell man? :annoyed:

Damn.. better scope the parking lot for someone with bumper damage and your paint on it. Sucks. Any cameras? start filling up those karma buckets so it doesn’t happen again.

Damnit. You should be able to find another car, with your slider imprint. Good luck, I would certainly be searching the lot for the offender.

I should have mentioned that the person who hit me came to my office to own up to it thankfully. And yeah, I should definitely buy a lottery ticket soon. Haha

Applied WoolWax this weekend to my 2023 OR. It was my first time applying a DIY undercoating.

I got the pro spray gun from Woolwax with 4 bottles of black. Put the truck on jackstands and the bottles in a bucket of hot water and went to town. 3 hours later these are my lessons learned.
    1. Use a bigger tarp for over spray. Something like a 9x19 would be good.
    2. The straight through flexible wand worked better for me than just using the tip. Though be careful when bending the wand around to get in the nooks and crannies, it can kink and then the back pressure creates blow back through the top of the bottle. Took me cleaning that mess up twice before I got the hang of it.
    3. A disposable cover all is a must if you don't want to hear "those clothes are NOT going in the washing machine".
    4. You'll need a light when working under the truck. It was tough seeing into those nooks and crannies without one.
    5. The 360 wand was very useful.
    6. Not sure how well I got the top sides of the frame members covered. Wish there was a 90 degree accessory to help with those.
    7. I left the tires on. Probably would have been better to take them off.
Overall, I'm very happy with how it turned out. Hopefully I won't have to go through such a thorough covering next year and it will only require touch up.
