Added a $25 DropStop from Amazon to my 3rd gen today to fix the annoying gap that my key fob and phone likes to fall into.

Will do! Most of what I've found is either too dark or uses adhesive. I'd like to find static cling because it's easily removed and reused.

Yes tint the screen. It's the display brightness thats too bright, not headlights from other vehicles (though the screen does tend to get washed out from bright headlights, but thats difficult to avoid with a camera).

I put a piece of electrical tape over the buzzer just to see what it sounded like. I could barely hear it. I took off the tape and I’ll just leave it be.

Check your bushings on all LCA/UCA, and BJ on steering[at tierod end], and LBJ on front and right LCA. How many miles on these components, as far as you know?

What is the advantage of this setup, OME MT64 suspension, over the OME Medium 2" lift setup? Specifically is there anything like a variable spring in this set?

    Brand new.
i took mine off, well i just unplugged it, i was actually used to hearing it when i left my keys in the truck , etc to other noises it let me know i did, so i muffled it with electrical tape.

Now the next step is to removed the gage cluster and remove the chime off the back of it.

I cannot say enough good things about it. Havent heard a bad review yet. Very reasonable pricing as well and tons of spring options.

By OME Medium 2" lift setup do you mean the nitrochargers? or the MT64 kit that comes with the "medium" dakar leaf pack?

I dont think they offer variable rate springs for this kit. The arb product catalog has all of the specs for all of the springs that work with the MT64.
    https://view.publitas.com/arb-4x4-a...mu-international-application-catalogue-latest
I believe they are all the same spring rate just different lengths. page 295 has spring specs and page 265 has breakdown of spring vs added weight

Advantages over Nitrochargers or any smaller diameter shock is the fluid capacity and therefore cooling capacity and dampening power. My Dad has a '23 Tundra with the TRD lift kit, and after driving the same fairly harsh road (Hagerman Pass for anyone in Colorado), his shocks were extremely hot whereas mine were barely warm. Granted the Tundra is much heavier but the TRD lift is built for that truck and weight, and the difference in temp was huge. This causes shock fade, which I have never felt myself so cant speak to it too much, but will basically diminish dampening performance of the shock.

Advantage over getting the full kit with Dakar leafs and the OME upper control arms for me was just price and necessity. I wanted to stay at or under a 2" lift (and therefore dont need UCA), and am not going to be putting too much extra weight in the back where I would need a heavier leaf pack. I had an add a leaf in my 2nd gen and it did great for years and was plenty of lift and extra spring rate for what I needed. I will say I had the Nitrochargers in my 2nd gen as well and was very happy with them. No complaints, just wanted an upgrade this time around and these are definitely an upgrade.

I installed the ICON Progressive 3 leaf AAL this weekend, mainly because the bro-lean was getting on my nerves, every time I looked at my truck that's all I saw. I already installed 5100's a few months ago and set the front clips in the 2nd position which gave the a slit increase in height up front but that of course made the rear look even more out of place. I forgot to take exact measurements but I think I got around 2" of lift in the rear with the new AAL's. I left the overload leaf in place.

Yes it is Amazonian Chinese but I figure a quarter inch aluminum as a quarter inch aluminum and it has to be better than my beaten and battered sheet metal OEs. They were better than having nothing, hopefully these will fair better. And yes, I know I need another coat of paint on my front hitch receiver.

A print shop that does vinyl decals and wraps should be able to print on clear static cling material to make static cling “tint”. The car stereo shop I used to run also did vinyl graphics and we had done this for various things. It takes some playing around with color and opacity to get it right if they have never done it, but once they get it figured out you can pretty much dial in how dark you want it. We also used to print on the clear laminate for vinyl wraps to darken lights. Works amazing well for something that isn’t permanent.

All of those would have about 50K on them. In conversation with the shop who did the work and getting scheduled to go back in to have the vibration hunted down. Wasn't having any issue prior so I assume it something either with the tires or the lift. Or the above mentioned components.
