Its above the rear door on the roof beam... so like not a place thats easy to dent, its straight up structural component of the roof.

    Ugh!

Teens are just as bad; well worse because it's not just them but the other teens running into them.
My son came home from school one day and I asked, "Are you upset about the big dent in your quarter panel?". He said, "What dent?" I showed him on the driver's side. It was actually from the snowplow overnight (the driver called me so I knew) yet my son never noticed the dent after driving it 3 times. We decided not to fix it as it was an older car being driven to a high school (HS parking lots are scary places reminiscent of a demolition derby) and we had another teen coming up learning to drive. Stuff just breaks when kids drive the cars.

Of course the people are more important than the vehicles. But I do think it's okay to take care of things.

My wife once told me she backed into the garage door as it was going up but not completely up. She said she ripped the 'coat hanger' off. She was referring to the rear washer fluid nozzle on the top of the minivan liftgate that she thought was put there to hold coat hangers...

    Yeah.
LOL. My wife did the same although it just scraped the paint and bowed the garage door a little. I asked her, "So, you start your vehicle and THEN open the door?" She answered, "Yeah, I don't want to get abducted or something while getting in my car." I mean, really? I told her that under no circumstances should you be running your vehicle in an enclosed space. SMH.

Oh, and the time she called me when the "butt light" on the dash was on. You can probably guess what that was.

EDIT: Oh, and this just this week: She was leaving to take our old little dog to the groomer on Wednesday. Her car wouldn't start so she took our daughter's Corolla. This weekend I did an oil change, new air filter and wipers, topped off all fluids, and topped off the battery (she doesn't drive it enough). The problem? She either forgot how to start it (press on the brake, push the button) or wasn't pressing on the brake hard enough.

In her defense, she's going through a lot right now and is a bit scatter-brained.

Look good, and it doesn't look like drilling holes was required. Where did you get the kit?

What are your thoughts on the Wolfbox setup? Are you liking it? I've been eyeballing it for the last couple of months.

That actor (Ken Jeong) cracks me up, even more so knowing he’s an MD: "He graduated from Duke in 1990 and obtained his M.D. at the UNC School of Medicine in 1995."

I just uninstalled mine because the Wolfbox, that I purchased for a rear view screen/camera setup, came with a front dashcam and I also have the Ring car cam and I figured 3 front cameras was too much.

I connected it by running the wire externally to see the picture quality and it’s much better quality than the OEM backup camera and eliminates the giant blind spot back there while driving.

If you use only the SD card, does it just run a continuous loop and when you need it you just pop it out and transfer to computer?

Get a fast SD card. My NextBase 522 will not even run if the card is slower than 45 MB/sec write speed (I currently run a 90 MB/sec card). Camera records 4k. I do not know FitCam but verify the card-speed specifications.
