They are definitely flat, or you couldn’t stack them.

How do you like it, and what other sound system upgrades have you made if any??

I am thinking about the same but Alpine Plug & Play 6-Speaker, 4-Channel Amp & Powered Subwoofer Kit... I have not read to much on the Trail Grid Pro bundle sound systems on TW...

Changed oil and filter with a few 'moments'. I mean how much fun is working on a vehicle without a little drama.
    1. Let engine get too hot. Not because oil burning hands, but because in my experience the composite filter housing becomes too tight in the threads. I was the last one to r&r filter so I knew it was torqued to 18lb ft. Yet it was very hard coming off. I'm going to buy a spare as a backup. Probably get the aluminum job. It went back on much easier after cooling down.
    2. I decided to try the 'remove filter housing without draining' method. Big FAIL. Before replacing OR splash guards with Pro skid plate it would not have been a big deal. With the Pro skid plate a lot of oil didn't make it into the oil drain pan and ran down the inside of the skid plate. At least I have a spare drain nipple and o-ring.
    3. Of course had to chip fiber gasket off oil pan drain hole before installing drain plug with new gasket.
    4. Replaced skid plate filter access plate OEM h/w with same in stainless steel. No drama here.
    5. Wrapping things up, cleaning tools etc and realized filter housing tool was still stuck to housing. Remove filter access plate, retrieve tool, reinstall plate.
Last item is a personal thing. I had a few cuts on my hands that are still healing so I swore I was going to wear PPE but as usual never did. Just can't get used to wearing latex/nitrile gloves while working on vehicles. I wear elkskin work gloves when operating my tractor, changing implements etc but can't get used to those rubber gloves.
    That's all. HNY!

I am also very curious about how well this sounds, I have considered the OEM audio + setup but seeing this for around half the price had me reconsidering that route if it sounds and fits well. Do you have OEM or aftermarket head unit?

I was thinking the same my last oil change, like, I did not tighten this sucker that hard at all! I may tighten with less torque next time, see how it is coming off the next...

Took her to the dealer for the 20k service and annual state inspection. And… she didn’t pass. There was a screw in one of the tires. After checking the rule books and much gnashing of teeth, they reluctantly passed the truck because there wasn’t any actual leak.

I may need to watch a few videos on screw removal, and get me one of them left-hand screwdrivers.

I ordered from Amazon Thursday and received German made H9's the next day. The Amazon ad showed Made in China on the packaging but the bulbs said Germany on them. I ended up with my packaging and bulbs both from Germany.

Sorry to take so long to reply. Long term, I like it lots. But what a hassle to install. Luckily I had help. My buddy bought one and had a local shop install it. They quoted him $800. They ended charging him $600. Still a major amount of money. If you're not handy I'd suggest buying from a local shop. Usually the install price is less if you buy from them.

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
Chances are that it hasn't gone through the carcass. Grab a pliers and pull it out before it does.

Ugh I've had to plug two tires in less than a year of ownership! I carry a plug kit in the glove.

It will on some songs but I listen to just about every genre of music and overall there isn't a lot that will start the rattle and with the sub level knob you can reduce the low end to stop it.

Honestly, it's 100% worth it even with still having the OEM head unit and no other upgrades. Gives the stereo a low end punch that can make a rattle but not all that often and easily controlled with the level control for the sub. Mids and highs are clear and separated more, gives it a more crisp sound. It will be nice to see how a real head unit with a more proper EQ can dial this in. For everything that comes in the kit, it makes install dead simple. That is, outside of all the panel removal but at least there is no fishing wire through the door to the cab. I got it on a BF deal. Shipping was a bit delayed (I expect it with all the deals for BF) but their customer service was very proactive about it. If they stocked the Pioneer head unit that I eyeing up next, they would definitely have my business again.
