I 2nd this @Kbar. I have the max fogs as well and I'm blown away by how well they perform. I have the Morimoto xb evo headlights (w/Supercharged drivers), and those paired together with the fogs alone are freakin awesome! And plenty of light.. Never would've thought fog lights would perform as well as these do.. I also have some fairly bright ditch lights and recently added a 32" led light bar in the bumper, and those are basically useless now ..
But yeah, I'm a fan of D.D. now and will be looking to get more of their lights to replace my other ones that seem dim in comparison. Patiently waiting for their new light bar lineup to come out for my new roof rack!

Just for clarity and because I haven’t seen it asked here yet; The superchargers make the entire unit not street legal correct? It increases output of both low and high beams since it replaces the DOT compliant driver?
Turns out the low beams are still street legal with the super charged drivers! This product is more and more temping with those dang lens heaters…

Yeah, it's unfortunate that quotes still show ignored jackass' messages. At least you get a break when others don't quote the ass.

Yes, but keep in mind that the fuse MUST protect the wire. The wire size dictates the maximum fuse, so that if it gets shorted out or overloaded, the fuse will blow before the wire will burn. Running too many amps through a wire, and exceeding the capacity of the wire size, will burn off the insulation and catch the truck on fire, before the fuse blows!!!. If you are going to use a fuse for two items, be sure all the wire for both circuits, is large enough to handle the intended fuse. Don't worry too much about over sizing the fuse (and wire) for the intended device, most devices have an internal fuse or fusible link, and are shielded. The fuse must protect the wires.

There have been a couple that got banned for being overly annoying, after enough people reported their dumbassery. One such time, the Mod said something like: Your douchebag to helpful post ratio is way to high. I think they'll even warn you to give you a chance to change your ways.

We all have our moments where we push the envelope with a smartass comment, some rarely post anything but dumbass posts.

    It's a personality thing...

People can be sarcastic/smart-ass but have it under some control.

The impulses are great for some...

Just my opinion but self-control is a key factor.

Technically, yes. But keep in mind, there's tons of setups people have that aren't dot compliant. Among which are way worse scenarios than what these produce. And imo, aren't anything to be concerned with as long as you're using them properly(aiming), or if you have some sort of inspection to comply with (which they probly wouldn't even know they aren't dot compliant with the supercharged drivers installed).
Also imo, I feel the output with the supercharged drivers is how they should've came to begin with. They call them supercharged drivers, but in reality, they're just unlocking their full potential. The dot drivers are basically limiters to remain 'compliant'. Also, the low beams aren't as affected as much as the high beams are. I would say increase with superchargers are; low beam +20-30%, high beam +40-50% brighter..
They also seem on par with some of the intermediate projectors like the minis or mled.. I'm sure there's other vehicles with oem setups/retrofits that certainly match, or even surpass these in output too tho for sure.

I’d assume if there’s a dot specification for output that there aren’t any oem assemblies that surpass that, but do know many vehicles come with poorly aimed lights from the factory so I’m probably wrong on that.
I’m not into the superchargers being readily available and advertised as “offroad only”. It’s the same situation and argument that people use to justify drop in LEDs:

Everyone else on the road has lights that are too bright so I’m going to be part of the problem.
If the drivers or assemblies had a toggle somewhere to easily turn down the “supercharge mode” I could get behind it but as is, these are just properly focused road hazards with sharp cut offs that are going to make the issue of over lit vehicles in cities that much worse and even more convoluted.
That being said; when it’s time to replace my OEMs the EVOs are top of the list until someone else adds lens heaters

This comment is moot as the low beams are still DOT compliant! Thanks to @Yoshi I for the info about his design and sharing so many details about this product in it’s respective thread
