Yep and I agree. I guess it really comes down to a use-case scenario. I live in a pretty rural area and don't have much traffic to worry about too so there's that. If I lived in the city I mightve reconsidered getting the supercharged drivers. I even lowered them a tad more than they should be due to concerns with blinding drivers when on slight inclines/slopes.

I heard about this issue right after my wife and I purchased our '11 Chevy Equinox. It had the same type of lug nuts. Knowing this issue, I soaked the lug nuts in warmed up Marvel Mystery oil while I was rotating the tires. Since then I've done this, on that vehicle, and all of my similar lug nuts about every 20K miles. The oil wicks in and prevents corrosion of the internal part. I faithfully rotate my tires every 5000 miles and I've never had a lug nut failure. BTW, I do live in the "rust belt".

Should we have to do this? No.
Should we have to apply Fluid Film (or the like) to our frames and undersides of our vehicles? No.
    ...But, we do it.

Pro grille of the lift kit variant came in today. Stumbled across it at Mike Calvert Toyota while searching for OEM pro grille deals. Didn’t need a VIN. I thought it was an awesome deal at $138. Especially in comparison to prices of the other OEM versions. I also ordered the cam bracket and the connector plug to fill the cam hole until/if I wanna do the anytime cam. Y’all probably already know all the P/N’s, but here they are again in case anyone was interested.

PT228-35200-20 - BLACK TOYOTA LETTERS- TSS and FRONT CAMERA MOUNT (came as part of the TRD Lift Kit)
Found this for $138 at Mike Calvert Toyota

    This and that
Mostly I was thinking about sticking some of the leds together. Not really looking to melt wires. Did see someone hook up two batteries to jump, the wrong way. Plastic began to fall off instantly. It was amazing.

Mine have been great. The cutoff is pretty good so just follow the many instruction videos or write ups and aim the properly. Really high quality product.

Well, trying to get ready for spring. The new tent arrived, still needs a few adjustments in the set up.9696F7F4-959B-4890-BCF8-5454FA0B7480.jpg3D8551DF-DFC8-4EB2-8242-C61C151AE4CE.jpg

OK, so I want to make sure I understand this, I feel like I am missing something... I am thinking about buying this, for my stock 2023 SR5, other than the $138 (plus shipping) what else to I need to keep the TSS still working??? I do have the anytime front camera kit from Trail Grid Pro still to install...

I did add both of these..

I was looking at it too...looks like it comes with the Garnish for TSS.

I don't have the camera so the holder would not be used.

It doesn't look to obvious the camera holder not being used.

What will be affected with a stock suspension and 245 tires with the TSS being lower in the grill...

I guess I just don't want to buy this and it not work for me...

I am probably overthinking this, but I need to know yes or no will it work with out buying more parts or having to recalibrate anything????
