Update: Info for others - airbag light plus flashing seatbelt light means passenger seat occupancy sensors need to be recalibrated. Apparently not uncommon with a rear end collision. Dealer took care of it quickly, so now I'm good to take my time dealing with insurance.

    Original:

    Tacoma vs Kia Optima…

Residential street, I stopped since someone was waiting to turn left when oncoming traffic cleared.

Driver behind me didn’t stop in time. Everyone okay.

1Up-USA bike rack is toast. We’ll see about my 17DCOR, dash lights show airbag alert and a flashing seatbelt icon, though no beeping. Otherwise drives fine with no apparent pulling and tailgate works fine.

I’m rather impressed at the Taco. The Kia left on a flat bed.

    :fingerscrossed:

Looking at the pic, looks like he almost lost his leg in the battle but he was prepared and he tied it back on so he could reel it in.

@alwaysHI What fish is that monster?

Another type of jack. Here in NC the only part of the Amberjack that is eaten is the tenderloin. The rest of the flesh is usually infested with parasites. A 50lb’er I caught yielded about 10lb of clean meat. The dock rays got the rest.

Interesting site, but none in Florida. 100 /pkg seems to be their popular pack, might be too many for me, but you never know what project may come up.

Thanks. I’ve not looked close yet, hoping there’s no frame damage. If not it should be repairable. Just 98k miles, I bought it new in late ‘16 and wasn’t looking to make a change anytime soon.

It’ll be a bit before it’s officially looked at since we have a lot going on the next couple weeks and it’s driving fine.

lol no. I ran into the tent spike on a previous strike two nights prior. Always carry a first aid bag kids!

Haven’t seen parasites in ulua. But there are known instances for high ciguatera. Gotta be careful

Thanks for the input, did you have to cut much of the truck front end to install this?

    Nice set up,
what brand of cap is that as well as roof rack?
is the roof rack strong enough to support you standing on top of it?

A.R.E. Overland with a prinsu rack. Definitely capable of handling me standing on top.

Just where the black section meets the white. The tabs slots for the black plastic to be held into the factory bumper had to go. My desire was to get a no cut option but I found this one for half off on marketplace and it was never installed. I do like the bumper and would suggest it as the cutting was minimal really.

What offset are those wheels and what thickness of spacer did you use?
Also, any trimming of the lugs required?

High air intake done, also called a snorkel even if it doesn’t help with water-

Airbox does show that water has gotten in there before
