So after swapping to the urethane hangers and driving for a few days I have noticed that they have added a decent amount of exhaust volume both inside the cabin and out. I've only ever installed urethane hangers before when installing a new exhaust system, so I haven't noticed the differences just based on the hangers themselves and I am pretty surprised at the change (though, now that I think about it, I did notice the same change on the Supra after adding the other one of these). I really didn't expect them to do much except be red, so this was kind of a shock to me. I am really liking how much more aggressive it sounds outside, but not loving how it sounds inside, just a little bit too noticeable and I really don't like having a truck that is annoying to be in. My options were to revert the hangers back to stock or install the Helmholtz chamber that MF includes with the kit that was sitting on the shelf. It seemed faster and easier to install the chamber than to wrestle with removing urethane hangers (even with the fancy Lisle pliers), so last night I threw that on and then went on a test drive to see how it was. As advertised, this addition cancelled out about all of the new droney frequencies, but I can still hear the exhaust at startup and while accelerating. The truck is much nicer to be in with that extra resonator in place so I think this is how it will stay. I really like having a quiet and comfortable cabin, and it might even be quieter at cruising speed than before which is a welcome change. I am still on board with swapping out the last few hangers, but still on the quest to find a 3-hole hanger that will be suitable for the rear as it is a somewhat unique design.

This is awesome. I’m a “non-participant” if you know what I mean. But I do appreciate the community, charity and a sense of humanity in general. I would absolutely volunteer some hours at a place like that if there was something around me.

I saw my 83 year old neighbor on a ladder cleaning gutters a couple weeks ago and had to go save him from himself. He’s a tough old guy but that’s too risky for him. I’ve seen how he moves. He has an awesome sense of humor about it though so I just yelled at him to get his old ass down before he kills himself.

I have used the banging on the starter solenoid trick to save the day many times. Nothing better than walking up to a dead car, wacking it in just the right place then having it start right up. Makes you look like a total badass :)

You don't have to hit it while they are cranking. I usually give it a couple good wacks then try to start it and it usually starts right up. You will usually get 1 to 2 starts before it gets stuck again. On my Jeep I spent a couple of months doing this with a railroad spike I found on the side of the road before I finally swapped the starter but there is no guarantee that the next start won't be your last.

It is getting harder and harder to do on newer cars. Last one I did had a plate that I had to unbolt to even see the starter then I touched the solenoid with a long socket extension and hit the other end with a hammer because there wasn't room to hit the solenoid directly.

You are an expert at this with a long history of true ability of solenoid-whispering. Even carrying the Jeep Ankh for months, truly a sign of a Guru.

And you're so right, like a badass, I was laughing so hard (inside) when his car started, he was so amazed, that when the other neighbor finally came back over to get the 'status' update, he picked up a tool to recreate the motions so the other neighbor could really understand what happened right before his amazed eyes.

I swapped out all of mine for 12mm Kartboy pinks. Definitely increased exhaust noise in the cabin. I never could find a solution for the three hole rear so I just cut it off and made it a two hole hanger. Because Race Car!

That makes me feel a little less crazy. The 2-hole hanger should be fine, it's really not supporting much weight, especially with the shortened MF that terminates just over the axle. Still going to try to find a proper one but this might happen as well for me.

I am curious if this one might fit, but they don't have any size specs posted. I shot them a message to see if they will share the specs.

"voici" also could apply .. "here it is" as opposed to "there it is" ("la"--there versus "ici"-here").

Just to be a PITA. :D

Well. I have the stock hangers. And my truck resonates ( for lack of a better term). On start up and acceleration. But is quiet at idle. @RichochetRabbit
