this triggered PTSD of playing punk shows in old basement venues. dim red light and the fridge looked like a house bass amp at first glance.

I have the Bilstein 5100 set at the third Cir-Clip and factory coil, with 5100's in the rear at factory height, and I enjoy the off road ride but on road these are so stiff I can feel every single bump in the road.

I'm looking at the Eibach Pro Truck 2R, and I was wondering if anyone has these and can comment on how they ride on road. I prefer a softer ride on the road because locally our roads are terrible.

It's either these or a fox setup from Accutune.

    Thanks!PXL_20250628_143823527.PORTRAIT.ORIGINAL.jpg

The type of tire and tire pressure are also a factor of how smooth the ride quality is. Can you post that info as well?

I don't rightly know. But if it was me they would probably end up parked right next to my free red bricks, cinder blocks, and pile of free ABC. Hey, you never know right?

I wish this was the issue, but it's the 265/70 factory tire size in SL standard load, not even a 10ply and I'm running 29 psi just to soften it up as much as I can before I swap to something else.

It's really not an issue outside of my local area because the roads elsewhere are properly maintained, it's literally because locally the roads are so bad. I just need a better performing suspension to make up the difference since the state will never fix the roads.

I've been reading lots of comments about the "stiff" ride quality of the Bilstein 5100s (TRD Lift).

The OEM Hitachi shocks previously on my Sport were "spongy" at best...never really getting good traction on turns (left turns most notably).

I had a 2024 Tacoma Limited for the day driving 100 miles and can honestly say, the ride quality (and height) were very similar to my completed TRD Lift.

Still driving on the original tires (35K+ Miles) that came with my Sport...Firestone Destination LE.

Not looking to get bigger tires until I hit 60K miles...I'll definitely have to remember to report back (ON RIDE QUALITY) with either 275/70R17s or 285/70R17s.

I haven't had an issue with the OEM 360 cameras in the Utah heat.

Probably doesn't help those that it didn't come from the factory with though.

    The list is growing.
I decided to not go to the dealer to get the ecu swapped out ( again). Assuming that’s what happened to my satellite app. I Bluetooth it from my phone anyways. I get more stations that way. For some reason the sr trim radio doesn’t offer all the stations beamed down from the satellite.

Personally I think satellite radio is crap. It does not have the fidelity close to USB or CD. Streaming in a high bit rate to BT is somewhat acceptable.

My faux pro grille was starting to fall apart and was literally flapping in the wind on the freeway so I figured it was time to replace. I really like the look of the newer SR grilles so I'd been keeping an eye out for a decent deal on one. Finally found one and of course had to chrome delete. Sanded and painted the surround and got one of the emblem vinyl overlays from etsy. TSS still works great no re-calibration necessary.

I have an SR grill to install. Like the idea of a smoked decal overtop of the Toyota emblem. Where did you get it.

There's a bunch of different ones on Etsy... just search for tacoma emblem decal or emblem overlay. It's 3M wrap vinyl which is pretty forgiving so nice and easy to get flat with no bubbles and no heat gun necessary despite the shape.

Made some switch bezels and threw them up on the site.

If you find yourself with a need for adding two more switches to your array of aftermarket options, or if you want a switch location that is closer to the seats on the center console, we have you covered. Using the supplied cutting templtes you can Dremel out a small section of the ridge of the console so that you can then press-in a new switch bezel that can fit Toyota Tacoma rectangular switches or aftermarket switches of the same size. Its an area no one else has considered and by the time you are done it looks like the switches belongs there.

This is also a good location for additional switches.

I've been going between the pre and post-facelift SR5 grille and this looks darn good. I currently have a pre-facelift going on with my '16 TRD OR... Got out in the woods with it last weekend!
