My energizer Tacoma bunny keeps on running and I'm very thankful for that. I attribute it to all the money I've dumped into maintenance over the years and Toyota's quality.

Lot's of road trips lately. Las Vegas, Disneyland, Flagstaff, ect.

My BFG K03's rolled 6k miles, so I had the first rotation done and the oil and filter changed. That trd catback has a noticeable growl heard across the shop when it fires up. :D

Last time I did the trans fluid was 18k. I really need to get that done again soon.

Haha, this isnt the first time. It always looks so bad before washing but there are just light clear coat scratches left afterwards. A lot of it ends up being more from dirt that was on the branches.

The scratches would buff out but I highly recommend not doing that. Otherwise before long you won't have any clear coat left and will be destroying the paint itself. I do want to play a bit with doing some paint and clear coat touchup but adding paint and clear coat not removing it to make it look better short term. I also have some rock chips I need to touch up to avoid rust.

When you see built trucks driving around with no pin striping you know it's all for show and they don't actually take their truck anywhere fun. Wear the pinstripes with pride!

Oh I definitely agree to this. It just kinda hurt in the gut a lil bit bc like I said, it was mint. It was bound to happen sooner or later tho. Ha. My 1st gen was riddled with rock chips all along the lower skirt/running board area. But im not so much worried about chips and light scratches, its the uv damage from the sun out here in Az that's the killer on the clear coat. My 1st gen is basically stripped clean of its clear coat all over. Ha.. That's what ill be looking into to prevent on my 3rd gen more than anything else.

I'd personally use the 3M double sided weather stripping material you posted.

Do you sell the 3d printed mount and use a usb jack? and instructions how to wire it in, id like to install a usb jack on my dash as I hate running wires over the edge of the dash.

So, are you satisfied and happy with the KO3s after 6k miles? I’m looking hard at those as my next set. Cheers

Thanks AL68, is this what you're saying you would use? It is a tube of black glue.

Went to the Lexus dealership to get new front differential fill/drain plugs. Stopped to look at the price of an RX 350 ... less than a 2025 Trailhunter. :annoyed:o_O

The Land Rovers at the dealer next door ... $140k. o_O

This still hurts in the gut as well, just not going to avoid having fun. Mine is a 2022 and still looks great.
