My gaskets tore apart the first time I took the drums off to inspect the brakes. I razer bladed/wire brushed the rest of it off, painted on a thin coat of silver anti-sneeze on the mating surfaces, and called it good. That paper gasket was already causing the drums to rust.

Nice... i just purchased this same TGP setup as well, was on sale plus a coupon made it $356 shipped. Not bad for a massive upgrade in sound quality over the OEM speakers

Can you take pics showing where you put deadening material? Thx. I got a box of material in shed, can you convince me to start this project?

I did something with my Tacoma that I was hoping to never have to do again...road trip with no AC.

I daily drive my truck about a 1,000 miles/month and of course my AC chooses to die 100 miles into my 2500 mile road trip to Texas but at least it's only 100f outside :(

If it would have failed at home last week I could have gotten it fixed for free under warranty. The dealers I called in Texas said 3-5 days for a fix and I don't want to pay out of pocket for a independent shop to fix it. So I will suffer for a week until I get home to have it fixed.

Look at that lazy bastard sitting there doing nothing and making me sweat. But on the bright side of all the belt driven parts on the the AC is the only one that isn't engine critical so at least it didn't leave me stranded.
