Inspected my low beams this morning, working just fine. Except for the haze all over these round lenses.

Can I easily wipe off these lenses if lights are removed? [Forget this, it's too complicated, and recommendations are just buy a new light. FT.]

I don't want to break any seals which would later allow moisture into the lights.

VVT system, head(s) bearings, I agree, all kinds of places oil does not drain out/off of...
If you were feeling froggy, grind the extra part off the threads sticking up in the pan and clean them up before installing...

Remember, vehicles with keys including chips were being stolen wayyyyy before the smart key (push button) starts were being stolen... lol

You would be better off installing the kill switch on the fuel side, that way it seems like a sensor/fuel system issue and not a kill for the starter...

Obviously, but .. Thieves are lazy. Car theft was dropping precipitously until the proliferation of easily hackable smart keys. Now theft is back on the rise since 2014, with juveniles comprising a bigger percentage of thefts every year.

    This and that
I’ve never pop started this truck, but imagine you’d have to push the csc button.
I’ve actually popped a couple of Vw’s that were push button starts and manual.

I guess sometimes it pays off to be short! After installing my ARB bumper I couldn’t quite reach to open hood with hood rod. Had to stand beside truck, only if I remembered to unclip rod from clip. It was a pita. So I installed redline tuning hood struts. So much better. And yes, it should be like this from factory.
