They were cheap and a pita to balance, but they've held up decently.

Thanks for the response! I love the way those look. I’ve been debating getting a cheap set of mud tires for closer to home stuff. Those are exactly what I’ve been looking for.

They've done everything I've asked of them, fairly soft so they grip well, but had to be balanced 3 times, but that could have also been the new guy at the shop lol.
I've got about 18k miles on them and they might be down to 50%.

Haha hopefully it was just the new guy!

That’s not too bad mileage wise for a budget mud terrain. How bad is the road noise? lol

I used to run the Yokohama g003’s and the road noise on those was totally bearable but that is definitely a premium tire.

Installed my Lambtek winch disconnect switch and swapped out my tail lights, i hate chrome... i know i know the bumper.... i have a high clearance rear bumper on order.

Heads up to anyone doing the blue seas switch which is included with the Lambtek kit, if you run a Smittybilt 10k winch with factory wiring the ring terminal is not large enough and you really have no room to drill it out larger to fit, if you did that you would have less than .010" on each side of the ring terminal which i don't think is enough contact to transfer the amperage required so pick up some new terminals and crimper/torch to attach it.

Also detailed my truck, played with P&S chemicals for the first time. I used to use the Turtle Wax hybrid spray detail/water less wash and it was solid but the amount of static it created just attracted dust and living in the desert it is discouraging so i heard P&S has some stuff that have anti static properties so i gave it a shot and it worked great. If your interested it is using 80% Bead Maker and 20% Dream maker.. worked great.. no streaks, even cleaned glass extremely well. Im going to stick with this combo for a while.

Does that P&S come as one product, or did you blend your own at 80/20%?

I wish they would blend it since its been well discussed and popular for the last few years but they don't offer it like that. You gotta buy the Dream maker and Bead maker separate and mix it yourself. Now if all you want/need is the anti-static properties of dream maker you can buy/use that by itself 100% but if you are going to be using a spray wax anyways its quicker and easier just mixing them and going around your truck in 1 step instead. If you have a ceramic coating already you could easily get away with a basic wash then using dream maker alone for the clarity it adds to the paint but more important for me is the anti-static properties it provides.

P&S makes really nice products at reasonable prices. Bead Maker is good stuff. I use it as a topper/seal after washing with Koch Chemie GSF. I have Gtechniq CSL and ExoV5 ceramic coatings though.

Yeesh. At least they are compatible and you can mix to satisfaction. But why can't they do that?

LOL Probably to make you buy 2 products hahaha... but yeah, at least they are proven to work well together even with P&S themselves saying its safe and effective.

Yeap. I got the same vibration as in this video, it shakes the passenger seat pretty noticeably. First I thought it was the tires, then the alignment, then the rims, then the LCAs, the LCA bushings, LCA balljoinnts, and after seeing this video I'm feeling like this is it. If so, I'm thinking I'll be replacing carrier bushing and maybe adjusting the rear axle diff angle sometime soon, if the numbers don't look good.

Road noise is there but isn't too bad, definitely bearable.
Definitely better than i thought they would be.

Rotated the tires today front to back, back to front. The fronts wear waaay faster.
    Checked out the brake pads

Pads look great. Are they OEM? I got 75k from mine, although easily could have gone 80k.

Yes. I wanted to also wiggle and spin the pins.
I had Toyota do the previous rotations so I wanted to gauge how the brakes are wearing.
Around here MAYBE the calipers survive to a pad change but they never make it 2 charges

It was finally time for some preventative maintenance and improved ride. New Falcon shocks and struts, front and rear. New JBA UCAs, new LCAs, new sway bar end links. Went from Nitto Ridge Grapplers to Nitto Terra Grapplers G3.
