was it easy installing the door sill protectors? I have mine but haven't put them on yet. How did you prevent bubbles from happening?

Mind sharing the details on the locks used for the boxes in the bed?

 

It's just a cabinet lock, available at Lowe's, or Home Depot, I got three keyed the same, you have to check and see that the ones you get are keyed the same, they come as a combination lock also, called Combi Lock. If you look here (Tacoma World) under diy mods, 2nd gen, there is a detailed description of how to do it.

Nice job, Moto. Did you get many contaminants off the paint when you clayed ? And how many months have you had yours ?

 

How big are those tube steps? 4, 5, or 6". Do u think 4" will look too small?

It's not hard. Just slow and steady. I did my back passenger side door first because I will see that one the least and sure enough I got bubbles. So to not get bubbles I peeled just the top 1/4 inch of the backing off and slid it under the rubber door seal until it went back as far as it would go. Then I just used my thumb to press from right to left or left to right. Then I would peel another 1/4 inch from the truck toward me and slide my thumb along. Repeat until you get to the edge. Take the rest of the backing off and slowly press it around the bend. Mine came out perfect with that method.

 

Installed my custom sheepskin seat covers! These covers are plush and sooooo nice!
