Toy truck/toyota truck

 

I've had to get my radio replaced, the screen just came on white when it was cold. After the truck warmed up a while it could be reset and would work, but screw that. Got it replaced and now sometimes my steering wheel switch won't change the song. Kinda aggravating. Also sounded like jingle bells under the bottom when I was going slow over some bumps. I believe they found a few things loose under the truck and now that's straightened out too.

 

But on a positive note, matched my new grill emblem with my other badges. Gunmetal metallic, dipped the chrome rear bumper covers..... And I got a 30" light bar. Will be installing that this weekend or next week. EBay light bar. It was a gift but it's still a light bar.... Also towed something with it for the first time today

Installed a CB antenna and dos the interior LED mod. It's some random thing I found on Amazon seems to be working - that pic is "under the lights"

 

When I took mine to the shop I wanted to get fronts only matched with back. I got the 3m tint and they said it is usually a perfect match with factory. After tinting fronts they ended up slightly darker than factory backs. They tested the backs and said they were lighter than they have seen in most other vehicles. I ended up getting the lightest they had added to the backs. They are slightly darker than the fronts but look great.

 

I know it comes on these trucks, but is there a part number or way to order the trailer "plug in" harness?

I have the spot with a plastic cover over it, but no tow package so no plug/harness...

Seen the Curt wire harness... Doesn't look like it includes the plug in area. I want it to look factory like in this picture.

Never had a truck, never had to add a hitch and harness so this might sound turd Gen noobish but I been googling for days lol

Is your truck cap specifically for that year and model tacoma? I looked at their website and nothing shows for 2016.

 

They just started production on the CX for the 2016. The CX was made for all previous year Tacomas as well I believe. Due to the increase in bed height on the 2016 they had to redesign it a bit this year.

 

Talk to an A.R.E. Dealer... They'll at least be able to give you production updates and more specifics because their system updates more than the website I imagine.
