Running the stock bilsteins and coils. Thinking about doing a slight lift in the front. The wheels are 17x9 with a 265/70 tire

WTF that's horrible! They are footing the whole bill right? Sorry to hear that brother. And I was complaining about when they filled a small chip on my windshield and scratched my hood up. They just throw this mat on the hood that's laying in their van thrown on the floor....:smack::facepalm:

This is why the idea of oil cartridge is bad compared to the old style of oil can. With the oil can, all the crap is thrown away with the can.
How do you clean the metal flakes from the cartridge before inserting the new filter? Are those "metal" particles or aluminum? Can be picked up with a magnet? Put the thing in the dishwasher? Use tweezers?

Not today but installed an OME lift kit. 888 coils and HS 3 leaf AAL with OME shocks all around. Also got 255/85/16 Cooper S/T MAXX. Happy with the way it turned out.

Also went to the dealer for my 15K maintenance and apparently they did an oil change. I'm not complaining though.. But I will complain about the hassle trying to get my transmission TSB done. They insisted on driving it to see if the TSB applied. Then they told me 5 hours later "could not replicate". I told them they don't drive it everyday for 40+ miles and asked to speak with the manager. Then they offered to do it before I even spoke with the manager.

Anyone remember using a toilet paper roll in the canister filter setup on 60 Chevy's and earlier ? Seems like we went forward and now are going back again. EPA = use oil longer and less waste from the filter's metal housing. Besides the sealed trans next step is the sealed engine .

That is why its actually GOOD. You can see evidence of something wrong before complete failure. A spray can of WD-40 to flush the housing should work.

After the initial break-in particles, you should see very little material. If you suddenly find more, you could react to it and prevent total failure or being stranded due to engine failure.

This. These types of filters are used on high performance vehicles (Bentley, Lamborghini, etc) which are under far more stress than our little 3.5's ever will be. Soooooo I'd venture to guess that this style of filter is more than sufficient for our application..

With the first taco TRD-OR I was getting around 21-23MPG in normal driving combined.
    :broccoli::dancingbacon::kona::bowdown:
With the new TRD-PRO I get 18-19MPG doing the same thing I was doing with the OR. Both trucks bone stock

Aerodynamics changed, Pro has a factory lift so that changes the air patterns under the truck producing more drag.

Day 2 of taco being in shop, said the abs modular was the cause of the brake/abs dash lights coming on. Had to order the part, they think it will be in tomorrow. It's has been doing it since truck was new. Hopefully will be fix tomorrow. They gave me a Camry to drive.

Looks great, is this wide enough to cover the LCA tabs?

Probably not -- it doesn't cover where the LCA axle is. I'm personally not very worried about that though.

I'm not sure if I've seen any that cover any wider though.

    BS!
The PRO is about 1/2" lower compared to OR front and back from the ground to the bottom edge of the black fender plastic molding. Dealer said the same thing, "you pay more because is lifted from the factory..." and I took the tape measure to my OR and then to the PRO and proved it to him that the PRO is actually lower to the ground. He walked away...Love it when their shit is hitting them flat in the face.
I am on the original dealer gas tank from the dealership and will put 91 Chevron in it when fill.
