Just got my AJT Key Fob and added the matte black TRD decal from tacomavinyldecals.com aka rrentrop. The quality is great and the decals were very easy to apply! I got the red fob with black oxide screws. Shipping was really fast for both products, ordered both on Thursday and got them today. Have to order another one for my spare now.

The inside of mine stays pretty clean and organized as well. But the outside.... Impossible... I pressure wash and do a quick wipe down about once a week but its back dirty again the same day usually... I only really wash it anymore when I'm going somewhere "fancy"

I can't blame it on work either... I just love playing off road. I also live a mile and a half from pavement... Long dusty or muddy (depending on the weather) dirt and limerock mixed road.

    Just took this picture...

Also... I like your screen name!

Well, I reluctantly gave back the 4runner but while doing so, picked up my RXT stuff. Springs look awesome and after seeing them installed on their new shop tacoma, I'm ever more excited to install them. Now if only my ribs would heal so I can get in the garage

Sad day for my Tacoma, ended up trading her in for a Ram Rebel. Needed more space and wanted something that didn't have such a sluggish transmission (Also Toyota's no fucks given attitude was a big contribution). If anyones located in WA near Seattle or Joint Base Lewis Mcchord, I have some stuff I'm selling
    • I have a soft trifold tonneau cover
    • leather seats made for the Tacoma (fit perfectly and are black and dark grey, great condition but backseat has a very tiny rip near the back)
    • a pedal commander
    • and a console vault
Was gonna post in sales but don't have 50 posts lol. Just message me if you're interested, will also ship on buyers dime.

Hey man, mine's on its way! These things look way cool. I'm excited. I bought the decals too. Did you follow the wet application directions?

    Thanks,
    Rob

Been looking for this! Thank you for the write up. Only question though, why the JB Weld on the back of the key cylinder? Weather proofing is my guess, but are the cylinders not already sealed in the back?

Yeah, I did the wet application. It's real easy. I got a bowl of soapy water and did 1 letter at a time. Put a couple drops inside the letter indention, peeled the decal, dipped it in the water and then lined it up on the fob and pressed down once in place. Wipe dry and its good to go!

What the heck happened?? I have hurt myself a lot over the years and have lost my share of blood but I am not liking the fact that I am probably going to lose the nail on my middle finger. Sucks getting hurt. Recover quick!

Yes, this is the correct thread. There is a hood pin switch that you install in a hole just behind the driver side headlight. The light turns on as you open the hood. It was an easy install, just depends how you want to run the wiring

Did the switch would for you? Mine kept having issues finding the ground. Ended up killing my accessory battery completely more than once. I ended up just getting rid of that switch and going with a manual switch
