The stock leaf pack is pretty notorious for squeaking, fyi.

    Trust me, I know.

I'm doing the right thing and spending a bucket of money on a new RXT rear end.

I would also recommend the Deaver springs, apparently they're coated in such a way that they don't squeak.

I bought this subwoofer box to replace my behind the rear seat plastic storage compartments to use as storage in my double cab. Tell me what what's wrong with my plan before I open up a $129 piece of wood or provide a better idea please. Why didn't I create my own? because i didnt want to. I also looked into doing something molle-type metal and didnt feel like going that route.

I want to remove the front-facing part of the box(red) and fill in the remaining part of the subwoofer circles(green) with wood(probably) or some other material. this way, it creates somewhat of a shelf.

I’m about to pull the trigger on some Dakar’s. Anyone have issues with those squeaking?

Whoa Whoa Whoa! Looks nice, but I got questions. Where did you get the housing for the remote? Looks awesome. Also, when you took off the grille, are there more than the top four (2 screws and 2 clips) attachments? Some videos show removing some clips from the bottom before removing the grill.

    Thanks

5% Tint, cargo tray and organizer, 1.25” Spidertrax spacers, TuffSkinz raised tailgate letters, Air compressor, Bed Extender.

It does help very much so. Thank you.

Now I realize what I did wrong, I put the masking tape as close as I could to the Lettering like I would do for house painting trim instead of giving that extra gap so I could peel it off... that's why I guess I kept having little spots pull off on me even after 6 coats. Drove me nuts. Lol.

Now I know when it comes time to redo the side badges! And good riddance to the V6 badge, it looks a whole lot cleaner now back there and more symmetrical. Plus I hate to give away the fact that I'm pushing mad V6 horsepower to anyone Considering a roll race ;)

Instead of only cutting the red bit out and trying to fill in 2 weird shapes, why not cut it all off and then use a straight cut shelving board to make a shelf...no weird cuts or attaching things awkwardly that way. Maybe this doesn't work on the inside of the box for some reason? I was considering making a complete box for my truck bed.

So the fob is from Ajt designs found here. https://www.ajtdesign-llc.com/

And yes all you need to do is remove the two screws and the two clips then you can pull the whole grill directly off. Super easy. Do not have to remove the lower ones.

How do these mount? Does it block the spare tire "hole?" How did you wire it up?

No, the MGM is too dark. The silver grey metallic or medium grey metallic are better matches. I have the silver grey metallic in my Limited and I think it is a very good complement to the dash trim.

If you say silver grey metallic is the closest match to the trim pieces, then I will order tomorrow!

Yeah, If I was back on relatively flat ground in Ohio I would probably be good with the four banger, but I live out in Colorado now, and after trying to maintain the 75 mph speed limit up the mountains here I was sick of not having enough power to merge. And yes, the 6 in that thing is nice. I miss it now that I'm in the Taco, but I didn't buy it for the highway, I bought it for the trails, and there my baby really shines.
