Painted mud flaps. Novel idea but not a huge fan. Maybe if I see a few it might grow on me. I had a painted set that transitioned to running boards for a 2 tone Ford that looked more "factory". Had black on previous Tacomas and always liked them. Def have a need for them on these trucks. A+ for effort and you might just end up being a trend setter.

I prefer not to have mud flaps,

All of a sudden no one wants to tail gate behind me? :notsure:

I didn't build it hoping for your approval, I built it because it meets mine!
Added 1.25" Spidertrax spacers today to hold me over until my lift and tires come in.

Had to take an overhead shot. Truck looks beefy now.

Still not sure about it. Not sure if I am just not used to it, or what. I'm going to leave it and wait until I install the Toytec Boss lift and black FX Pro wheels- KO2 275/70/17's. It's all in the garage awaiting install and tire pickup. It will be a few weeks.

I wonder what the people at Toyota were thinking making the entire grill chrome. Way too much chrome for my taste. Nicely done!

that's correct, the confirmation email also said 2-3 weeks. I'm pretty patient so I haven't called yet, but I will tomorrow. I'll let you know what they say. Not trying to knock AVID just yet, just trying to give prospective buyers a heads up.

Which model bugflector thing do you have? I have seen people say one model doesn't fit right and rubs/scrapes the paint on the hood.
