I agree 100%, and yea, nice how that worked out. I am not opposed to a little matchy matchy with the chrome.

Heh, yep...it's been pretty tough to do with this "amazing" Oregon spring weather so far so I had to get some swings in when I had a chance last night.

Simpler? Maybe. There's a reason manufacturers tether gas caps to vehicles. It all comes down to choice and personal preference. Personally I prefer the tether over placing the gas cap on my bed rail or the top of the gas pump. That said I've never liked the cap hanging on the side of my bed for obvious reasons. For me the Gashole is the better of the two options. I just need to figure out how to make it work with my locking gas cap. I think it's a good idea that I need to improve on for my own particular needs.
There is no right or wrong it's just whatever is right for you.

    How does that phrase go?

"Opinions are like gassholes, everybody's got one." Oh wait, no. Not everybody has a gasshole. My bad. I personally love mine, but never get to enjoy it because Oregon.

My Wife saw it a couple times, peeps driving down the road with the pump nozzle still in the hole. This is something that I've always wanted to see.

I've seen plenty of folks driving around with the door open and the cap flapping around on its tether. Good times!

A local station tried attendants a bunch of years ago. They'd typically go away when I said no thanks, but one time, I got someone who was insistent. I was back by the pump paying and they had already opened the filler door. I walked into it and put a nice ding in the quarter panel. They did quietly walk away after that.

When I do that there's a 100% chance of the cap ending up underneath the very center of the vehicle. Gasshole FTW.

I know there's a sell thread but wanted people's input beforehand. Since I wrecked my 2017, I have a few spare parts that i am looking to sell. I have a OR stock rear bumper, a RH predator running board, and a stock OR front bumper (just the plastic chrome that so many love so much). If anyone is interested please send me a PM. Just want to clear out the garage a little.

Yep! Thankfully when I have been in OR on my bike, they either don't even bother to walk over or just run the card and hand me the nozzle.

If I lived there, it'd a small annoyance to get at all the great roads (on and off) east of the mountains. But then, self-service is now legal there. I think only Portland and Eugene bump over the population limit?

Today was a big day of wiring and cleaning up some odds and ends. I installed and wired my @Mr.PowerTrays system with the switch-pro 8100 and bluesea fuse block, as well as finished wiring my ML-ACR for the dual battery system. Cut and crimped new terminals for the batteries and grounds so it'll a little cleaned up.

One part of the bluesea goes to my CB, the other goes to the distro board in the bed with power to the tent, underbed lights(coming soon), work light(coming soon), and @ProForce onboard water system(wired but not fully installed) . I can add some pictures of that if anyone is interested.
